If I could give beyond 5 stars for the care I have received since being under the care of Seabreeze medical, I would! Amy and her staff are very attentive. My appointments never feel rushed, and I appreciate that they don't see a monumental amount of patients per day. This speaks to the quality of care you can expect to receive where you are always listened to and more importantly, heard. Going to my appointments feels more like visiting an old friend. The entire staff is kind and compassionate. When my insurance company denied covering a medication I needed, Amy and her staff were able to still accommodate me. I drive all the way from the Westside of Jacksonville to be seen exclusively here. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else for my care.

I’m really disappointed in the lack of professionalism and quality care. I was only a patient for a brief time but really loved the thoroughness of my previous PCP Dr. Mccabe whom is no longer a part of the practice. I recently went for my annual physical (which was confirmed in various way upon making the appt, checking in for the appt and again when I was taken back to the room by the nurse). I waited a good bit before being taken back. At which point I was prompted to step onto the scale. The nurse stated “not too bad” (I am 5,6 and about 132 lbs) so this did not cause too much internal turmoil but I did note it as it was off putting and created a pause for myself. When I stepped into the room, the nurse prompted me (confirming there for annual) and asked “do you have any specific concerns you’d like to talk to her about?” I shared two concerns she finished and left. When the doctor arrived, I quickly realized it was not my previous PCP it was only then I was informed she was no longer a part of the practice. We proceeded and Dr. Brumfield asked some questions about me, presumably to built rapport given my surprise when she walked in. She inquired about my concerns and discuss treatment options. One of which was adhd/anxiety. She made presumptuous comments before I could explain wanting to re-start a previously prescribed medication (Straterra). She states: “oh, you probably want the amphetamines” and rolled her eyes and neck simultaneously. I clarified those are the opposite of what I wanted. And she said “good for you”. She offered me some “natural juice” she sells and was unable to provide info on what was in it. This felt weird given the setting and a little pyramid scheme-y. At some point the conversations flipped and she begin to discuss her personal life for about 5-6 minutes. When she realized she wrapped it up. Summarized out convo and stated “well, you’re good to go I’ll call these in”. I walked out a little uncertain and paused as I realized she never actually gave me my physical. I went back in and stated this and she said “oh you had other concerns I assumed it was a follow up” (I hadn’t been in over a year so she clearly hadn’t read my chart). She did a brief physical and while doing so said “oh, you must want this to be a physical so you don’t have to pay and insuruance will”. Another presumptuous comment that really did not sit well. I left pretty upset. I was leaving for a trip was hoping to have my inhaler and medication filled before. I called, LVM no response. I am writing over a week later, still have not heard back from the office regarding my prescriptions and they have still not been called in. As a professional in healthcare I’m really disheartened by this treatment. I was hoping to provide direct feedback when my phone call was returned but alas, it was not.

I’m surprised this place does not have more google reviews with how amazing Amy and the staff are. I just moved here and needed a new PCP. I feel so blessed I chose this place! The staff are so sweet and attentive. Amy is amazing. I’ve never had a Dr spend so much time with me and really hear me out. I’ve been dealing with some negative scary symptoms lately and Amy was perfect for the case. I felt heard, understood, and like she really cared. It was also quick to get an apt compared to some of the big chains around here. 10/10 would recommend. This was the best experience I’ve ever had a Dr office. If you’re looking for a Dr who cares and really wants to help you.. this is the place. Thanks guys 🙂

I am a relatively new patient for Amy after my long-standing primary doctor retired. I have known Amy for years though since she has cared for both my daughters, and now my granddaughter. She is thorough, caring, very experienced, and never rushes you through an appointment. I am a senior citizen, and I know she is going to give me excellent care going forward. So happy to be part of Seabreeze Medical now and to be seeing Amy for my primary care. The staff is friendly and inviting. They make you feel part of the Seabreeze family right away. I highly recommend Amy for your medical needs.

Amy is amazing! She is great with her patients and spends as much time as needed with you to get all questions answered and also just to get to know you. You’re not just a number to her! You can tell she truly cares about her patients! I would recommend her to anyone! She’s been my doctor now for 28 years! And the staff at Seabreeze Medical are so wonderful and helpful! If you’re looking for a Primary Care Physician definitely give them a call!

Verry Unprofessional - Denied my refill and when I called to see why, they said they wanted to see me every three months for them to keep re-filling my blood pleasure meds. Insurance only allows one wellness check a year. Now I am out of Meds and looking for a new doctor who knows how to communicate with me instead of denying meds I need to prompt me to call them.

I recently changed primary care doctor to Seabreeze Medical and boy am I glad! What a great place full of Medical staff and office people who are friendly, caring and extremely competent. I have nothing but positive things to say and other than that if you are looking for or want to change your primary care physicians try them out, you won't regret it...
