I attempted to be become a new patient today after waiting for over a month. The administrator at check-in was callous, icy cold and cancelled my appointment due to a misunderstanding about coming 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork when I received two texts confirming an different arrival time. I actually changed the time in my calendar because of the texts. Stood and waited five minutes to get checked in while waiting on small talk and telling the patient in front of me who came accidentally a day early that they would try to squeeze him in, in addition to also letting him wait to get a shot... definitely a waste of my morning after driving 40 minutes to get there, but they certainly didn’t seem to care or try to work with me. Offered an appt a WEEK later. Wow. Do not recommend. A GP‘s office should be warm and welcoming, especially to a new patient who is nervous and unwell- This treatment says so much and I will not be returning to that atmosphere.

I had a follow up appointment scheduled after I went and got bloodwork done that the dr requested I get done. When they called me for my deductible I explained due to personal reasons I didnt have it. An extremely nice office lady called back saying she’d help me work something out because the extremely lovely doctor I was seeing doesn’t like to see patients cancel appointments. Well today the receptionist called saying there was no note on this conversation and I cant be seen. I dont know how I will get access to my bloodwork results now. Its not like Im an old client like the rest of their waiting room. Just wanted to check my bloodwork after having a baby. This place is really chaotic and horrible bedside manners. Super disappointed.

Love Dr. Johnson. Have seen him for about 20 years but he’s so busy now if you’re sick you have to wait 3 weeks for an appointment with him. I personally don’t enjoy suffering that long waiting to be seen. Sometimes a telehealth is pointless and you have to be seen and tested in office. The office staff tries to push telehealth appointments rather than in person visits.

I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for a few years now. I actually changed my insurance policy to one he was able to accept because I could not find another primary care Doctor that I liked even half as much. When you see him, he talks to you- not at you, big difference. He listens very well and actually cares about how his patients are doing. You don't feel rushed and as if the doctor can't wait to get away and on to his next patient. Like all you are is a partial paycheck. I have felt that way before with other doctors. Not Dr. Johnson. If you become one of his patients you can be assured that you will be well taken care of, mind as well as body.

Very Unprofessional. I scheduled and confirmed an appointment more then a month in advance and just got an email stating that my appointment was cancelled. No reason given. It is sad that the Doctor dosen't even have the courtesy to not schedule appointments if a vacation has been planned. I wonder how many working people, like me, ended up having their time wasted. I guess that in the end, the up side is that I now know how I would have been treated had a became an actual patient. And yes North Florida you can be sure I will be informing my HR department and Health Care provider as to what has transpired.

I love the office ladies they are so nice and help you with anything you need as well as the nurses. Dr. Johnson is Amazing and the best doctor ever in my opinion. I cant thank him enough for all the help he has given me over the years. Its nice having a doctor who cares😊
