I have faced ongoing issues with this office for over a year. After not receiving blood work for some time, I called to request a prescription but never got a response, despite multiple attempts. Then, during my annual wellness exam, I mentioned my trouble getting blood work, and they finally did it for me in-office.

Today, I waited over an hour to see Dr. Orman about a weight loss medication. I had previously called to ask for a prescription for Tirzepatide and was told I needed to see her first. I arrived at 2:30 PM, and Dr. Orman didn’t come in until 3:40 PM. In just two minutes, she informed me that she couldn’t prescribe the drug. I was frustrated, wondering why the office hadn’t communicated this over the phone. I took two hours out of my day for this.

Additionally, when she checked her files, she had no record of my previous visits, despite having been there three times in the last two years. This office is disorganized and uninformed. I would never trust my health to this team—it’s simply unacceptable.

My mom has been going to age well since they opened. She loves the doctors and the office staff. We liked it because it was a one stop shop. In the last few months my mom started receiving bills for a “facility fee”. It’s is $109.00 that they are charging her to walk in the building. I have called agewell, I have called the hospital and I have called billing. No one could figure out why she was suddenly being billed. After extensive research into this I found a billing clerk that was willing to go the extra mile. He also could not come up with a direct answer as to why they are suddenly doing this. He was able to come up with my mom could drive from the beach to the Nocatee office and would not get charged. He said from everything he can see she is being charged because agewell is attached to the hospital and not a free standing building. My mother sees several doctors who are attached to the same hospital and she does not get a bill for walking in the door. I have advised my mom and all of her friends having this same issue to find a new doctor. All of them are on Medicare and none of them can afford a extra bill for $109.00 to walk in a building.

With a zero copay I am charged over $100 for each office visit, even though my insurance pays $600+ per visit. When I questioned the charge, I was told the charge is a "Facility Fee." Why am I being charged this Fee? I don't occupy the building. I think the Fee is a money grabbing scam to fleece Senior Citizens. I absolutely refuse to pay these charges and ignore Baptist bills and collection calls. I am currently looking for another Doctor even though I do like Dr. Orman and the staff.

I used to love it there with Dr. R. Balbino but he has left. Other changes have happened and I'm not sure that I like it there anymore. Upcoming appointment so we shall see
