If I could give zero stars I would. I saw Mr. Windfelder Dec of 2022 when he was located at Santa Rosa Medical Group. I have chronic health issues and was there for a NEW PATIENT appointment; his tech told me to narrow my list of complaints down to my top 3 when I told her I had a list of things to talk to Mr. Windfelder about. One thing on my list was the excruciating abdominal pain I experience before I have a bowel movement. (TMI sorry) Instead of referring me to someone who could investigate why I am having such bad abdominal pain, Mr. Windfelder instead said he felt I wasn't completely emptying my bowels and gave me a lifetime supply of Miralax. Fast forward to today (Nov 2024) and I find out, after paying for genetic testing MYSELF, that I am positive for Lynch Syndrome and I'm supposed to have colonoscopies every year. So, not only did he completely dismiss my complaint of abdominal pain, it took his staff FOUR MONTHS to get a referral to the VA for me. After one visit with Mr. Windfelder I told the VA to assign me a new Dr at Eglin VA as I'd rather see VA Drs because at least they never told me to narrow my list of complaints down to my top 3. If you're okay with being dismissed, your complaints not being taken seriously, and referrals taking literal months to go through, go see Mr. Windfelder!

I’ve been visiting this facility since it opened and seeing PA Windfelder exclusively for about 2 years. The level of care has been exceptional. Charles is a straight-shooter; he has provided great advice and honest feedback in a caring and compassionate manner. He responds promptly to questions posted on the portal. I have no hesitation recommending him to any prospective patients. The staff at the facility are also friendly and efficient. They are busy though…and it can take a while to get appointments.
***Update 5/7/24. Charles has moved to Skelly Medical Group. Smaller location, same great service!

The staff was so very kind and polite! Also very helpful. Dr Windfelder was very polite and professional. He had wonderful recommendations on what to do and how to care for myself relating to the appointment subject matter.
Thank you to the smiles I received waiting in the lobby from such a sweet and lovely lady.
Ask her what time it is for me! LOL

This was my first trip as a new patient. I absolutely love his staff they were all so nice and helpful. Most of all Dr. Windfelder was very kind and listened to all my health issues and seemed to genuinely care !! He will be my primary care doctor from here on out !! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Doctor Charles is an excellent Doctor! He's been seeing my kids and myself for the past year.
He listens to our concerns. He's very knowledgeable. He goes to the point and likes to investigate the issues to find the appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
He's very professional, polite, fun to talk to and he's always on time!

Charles Windfelder is one of the most incredible providers I have ever met. He takes care of my 86 year old mother and he has the greatest personality of any provider I have seen. Dr. Windfelder and his staff were very polite and easy to talk to. He did talk a bit fast when we went over my health plan but he seemed to show genuine care for my well being. I really liked his teams beside manner overall and would recommend Santa Rosa Med Group.

Awesome team. Charles Windfelder is by far one on the best provider in the area. Hes thorough and very compassionate. He treats you like a family member. We need more providers like Charles Windfelder in our community.
