The staff was very nice. The PA was very nice. BUT I waited over 4 hours to be seen. I understand that you're getting patients from the other hospitals that are no longer doing occupational health. And other hospitals are sending you their employee health cases also. I'm sure that you're feeling the strain too. Have you considered getting another provider to help? Right now, I plan to use another facility rather than have to wait so long again.

About 20 minute wait in the waiting room- not bad at all! Plenty of masks and hand sanitizer for use to help keep from catching anything else. From the check in until discharge all the staff members were professional, efficient and kind. Dr Hawkins was attentive and was very thorough with his exam. Thank you all!

I was on day 2 of what felt like the flu, and as I am on the Sacred Heart network it was a blessing not to have to go to a "regular" urgent care and spend tons of time on paperwork. They had me in and out in what felt like less than 20 minutes, including flu/covid tests and follow-up with the PA. SO happy they are here!
To note, they are in the same suite as one of the primary care doctors, but they have part of the waiting area sectioned off strictly for urgent care patients.

The lady checking me in was extremely rude and was throwing around the papers and pens like she hated her job. Once I was finally taken back to be seen, the nurses were on their phones and not paying attention. The particular nurse that was with me was super rude and unprofessional. I assume they were rushing to get onto their lunch break. They put another patron in a room with me after getting a drug test so he was holding a cup of his pee while I was giving my personal information to the nurse so they could hurry up and get us out of there. The room was barely big enough for me and the nurse. Then proceeded to tell me to wash my hands with no soap or paper towel towels in a place full of people who are sick. This place need some help.

The nurse practitioner Gary Bombard was thorough in his assessment and explanation of treatment. My wait time was minimal. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. I am so glad I had Ascension Sacred Heart Urgent Care Center as an option for care on a Saturday especially when so many other urgent care places are closed on the weekend here in Pensacola. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs urgent care.

The staff were welcoming and professional. We didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes for vitals. And another 5 - 10 minutes for the PA to examine me. Both the waiting room and exam room were spotless. A very welcoming, kind atmosphere!

The staff was super nice and Dr. Hawkings is an awesome Doctor. You can tell he really cares about people and so does the staff which sadly is rare these days even in health care it's just a pay check to people but the staff and Doctor there are different thank God.

Pros: The staff is friendly. The dr was super sweet.

Cons: Honestly, everything else was awful. I waited 4.5 hours for a nonDOT PE. The waiting room was PACKED. Standing room only. I was never given an estimated waiting time or proved a check-in from the staff. My anxiety was through the roof hanging out that long with sick people.

Suggestion: I feel like occupational health should be a separate waiting room with devoted staff. I understand that sick people need priority, but 4.5 hours is a ridiculous wait. Give people a time to come back if you know you are going to wait to see until right before you close.
