This office has horrible doctors that don't care about you and that will leave you in pain and sickness if you go here. I highly recommend you not because if you have to go there for any important reason. They're very empathetic, and they will leave you sick. If you're on benzodiazepins, they will allow people die.

I don't even know how they call this place in doctors office. I went to my first appointment and he did not prescribe my medication correctly. I was calling for about a week with no medication and they charged me another $50 to get my correct medication prescribed.

I'm stremlly surprised that this office is still operating, they are very rude, they cut you off when you try to explain your self, they LIE to you and they tell you that the Dr will call just to get you off the phone, they should not be allowed to treat people with mental issues. Do your research.

Trust the negative reviews. Dr. Gravil is unprofessional, argumentative, and fraudulent. I have been charged for a visit that never happened and they are refusing to speak with me about the extra visit.

I came to this office hoping to find a psychiatrist who would listen. Since the beginning its was less of what I needed to explain and more of him pushing new pills on me. The tele-health has been a joke. Gravil Joseph is NEVER on time for the meeting. After waiting more than 30 minutes I would call office to let the know I had an appointment. They would tell me Dr will call. He would sometimes call me for a less the 5 minute call. Would ask me what I wanted to do ? Just stop meds if you want to ! I had an appointment recently ( tele-health ) Cathy answered it late and asked what I needed. I told her meds weren’t working and I was having severe side effects. She said she will talk to Dr and call me back. She called me and said Dr would call me after 3:00 pm yesterday. That never happened. I get an automated text saying thanks for your visit and to call for follow-up visit. I called and told them I didn’t get a visit yesterday as Joseph didn’t call back. She then said she will tell him to call me back today. That didn’t happen either. I hope they don’t bill my insurance for a visit that didn’t happen. He gives you prescriptions for 15 days so you have to have another visit and they charge insurance. Well I’m out of meds 2 days now and will be out of my other one in 3 days. I’m so frustrated!! I would NOT recommend this place!

Dealing with this place will make your mental health WORSE!! First off the doctor was 30 minutes late for my tele-health visit. He had me answer the generic and irrelevant questions that I already answered in a survey prior to my appointment. During my appointment the dr sends me another 10 question survey in my email and wants to end the call and have me fill it out and email it back to him, he said “ I will call you right back” he could have easily asked me the ten questions over the call in less than one minute or sent the email prior to my visit. I wait another half hour and never receive a call back. I wait until Monday to call the office and they say the dr will call me. I did this three days in a row and have yet to talk to the dr to finish my original appointment. Run away from this place. I don’t know how this place is in business. Imagine trying to get help with a prescription or if you have a serious problem. The dr was so impersonal it felt like I was being asked computer generated questions by a toddler who’s first language is not English. they can’t even manage a doctors office properly, How can we expect them to manage our mental health?

• Bad environment for Tele -meetings (echo and reverberations make it very difficult to understand people that already have a heavy accent.)
• Pushing medications without listening to my requirements. I have a job, and I can't go around all day acting like a zombie because my medications cause extreme drowsiness.
• Felt like a number, not a person.
• My biggest issue was that I specifically asked to speak with a therapist so I can discuss my thoughts, and actions in order to build a gameplan of attack... They made me go back 3 times and pay my co-pays to see the doctor with nothing new to discuss because they never had a therapist assigned to me. They were just trying to collect my co-pays and move on to the next number.

FYI... do NOT waste your time or money.

This place has been horrendous! I’ve had to call about 12 times in 2 days while on my anniversary trip to get an order for a test that my mother had to have done before doc. Would write a script for additional meds. Every time I called, I had to repeat the same thing I needed back over, with each call supposedly leading to a conclusion or someone would call me back. Neither happened. We met with the psychiatrist on a Friday afternoon to establish my mother as a patient. I let him know I would be out of town Mon-Thurs and needed to get everything lined up for my mother prior to leaving as I didn’t want to try and deal with this while on my anniversary from NYC while my mother was BRAND NEW to Florida. We had no family there and it would be impossible to handle anything from afar. Yet, when I called the office on Monday to get an order foot her test or for her to go in for the test, they decide to inform that in house testing is $50! My mother is disabled and cannot afford that when she just relocated 3 states away 2 weeks prior. So we got an order to a Labcorp. But it took them the entire day Monday to actually get it signed and sent over...and by that time Labcorp had closed. First thing Tuesday morning I start trying to get my mom to a Labcorp….this is a HUGE feat. I spent my entire morning trying to manage this. (She runs out of meds Wednesday at noon). She gets there and does test. I then call back up the office and tell them that she’s done it, and can doc please write a script to fill her meds so she doesn’t go cold Turkey at noon on Wednesday and we will pick them up at 11:30am on Wednesday. They inform me that he won’t write a script until her test comes back. This was not shared with me when we met with him on Friday (neither was the $50 in house testing fee if I went that route), not shared with me when I called a dozen times on Monday trying to make sure she got in for this test before Wednesday, so she wouldn’t go without meds while I was away. With no one there to watch her for the 36hrs it would take before I got back home. Mind you I also have 8 children at home and was looking forward to a break with my husband and not having to run back and make up for poor or no communication from this place. So the doc wrote a new script on Friday for 5 days, only for my mom to then suddenly not have it again 5 days later until they get test results back. Again never shared with me. What was the point of even writing the script in the first place? To stabilize her right? So what is going to happen on Wednesday when she no longer has it and I’m out of town? And what benefit are the results exactly? As I shared openly what all my mother was taking and doing on Friday and he still wrote the script. There will be no surprises…except the one where I spend 2 on my 3 days in NYC on the phone with this place instead of quality time with my husband after the psychiatrist assured me all I had to do was call in Monday and get order for drug test OR do in office and all would be ok and he would see her in like 2 weeks. That’s not at all how this has played out. I really cannot stand when mentally Ill people are treated as if they are insignificant and are at the mercy of people that may or may not be able to do their job well. Happy Anniversary! 🙄
