Came here today and I was impressed! The store is extremely clean and well-lighted. They have an excellent selection of fresh produce, meats, and fish. Want to start off with the store itself was great to shop has almost everything I needed, I’ve been to serval Key foods Stores all around Florida. I been shopping with Key foods for years now. When it came to check out my experience was NOT great. This is the first key foods that I have been to where the cashier bags your grocery and does not have someone place it in the cart while your paying for your Groceries the cashier piled all the bags on top of each other on the counter causing my bread and some other things to smash he did not even attempt to help put bags in the cart When I was done paying he just leaned back on the register looking at me putting bags in the shopping cart when I ask him you guys don’t help put bags in cart he laughed at me very unprofessional other employees standing around also no attempt to help I have never experienced this in no other Key Foods I’ve shopped at here in Florida. Mount Dora Key Foods definitely have to do better with customer service not a good look

Custom Service ok. I've had several family members apply here, and Everytime they inquired the position had been filled. So I had to ask, Does this business hire anyone outside of the Spanish culture? Not being insensitive. It was a concern.

Good coffee poor Customer Service. I stood in line 10 minutes trying to get a coffee while 4 employees passed by. Not one acknowledged me if only to say hey we will be right with you ?!
I found some PR coffee in the aisle that is almost impossible to find at other stores which is a plus, I will try again .

* update the coffee counter has improved drastically and they have some delicious food in the cases for purchase!

A Latino/Hispanics dream come true or anyone who loves that kind of food. A great and expansive selection of all types of foods from various Hispanics cultures/countries. As well as a generous selection of different beers so that’s always a plus.

Now for the main reason I come here, THAT FOOD COURT! Love the food court here even though it’s small it is delicious . The amount of food you get and how good it is will leave you planning your next trip back. Usually 2-3 different types of rice , 6-8 selections of either meats/fish/poultry and over 5* different sides.

Even aside from that my main reason for coming is always the Frituras , specifically the Colombian Empanadas & Alcapurrias .

I’ve been nothing but happy ever since this place was established here and I love it.
