Very disappointed at this place got told that they can help my 76 handicap mom with a wheelchair .
After been there once and saw that they have a few in the back ( Storage) room when a call and spoke to Melissa . She told me that they only have one and the cost was $50.00 dollars (donation ) according to her . I agree because we need it . Knowing that she was lying about not having but one .. and the worst is that the chair was totally defective or not working properly we only try it by having my mother seating on it because it was a rainy day .. but when we got home the wheels were not working right. Try to call but not luck .
Any not sure what kind of business they are running. Will never recommend or help to their so call charity place . We got screw by the two ladies that run the place and I should it know the moment I call and ska for information about that place they were so rude and cold no sympathy for people that needed help . Any way we still using the wheel chair just inside the house . Until we get a dio one . Feeling taking advantage.

Melissa and Wanda, at We Care, have been just phenomenal with my family. My father took ill in July of this year. He has had 3 surgeries, spent over 100 days now in the hospital and a nursing facility, had a feeding tube placed, is now on a walker and is in need of adult diapers and all those kinds of supplies required for his care. When someone referred me to We Care, I went in and sat down with Melissa and Wanda and told them what was going on. They were so very caring, generous beyond belief, and went above and beyond to give me any supplies that might help my father. I couldn't believe how I got a potty chair, IV pole, tons of diapers, wipes, chucks, creams all for $25.00. I was astonished and beyond grateful for the help. I went back a second time when we couldn't get a pharmacy to supply his pump for his feeding tube or any food or equipment yet after being released from the rehab center from out of state. Melissa gave me feeding bags, syringes, and all sorts of things she had to help us get him set up at home. She helped us so much more than anyone else had. My family and I are so grateful for this organization and the care they have shown us. What an amazing blessing they have been. If you are in need of different medical supplies or help please look them up and go and visit. If you're not, but you are able to donate to them please do. Whether you have supplies they can pass on or you're able to help financially, you will be a blessing. You never know when, in an instant, your life will totally change and you may be in a situation like us and you're needing help. Thank you We Care and God bless you wonderful angels.

I went to We Care on 19. I had a total hip replacement and have been using the metal Walker with sliders that the hospital gives you. I was asking the lady if they had a lightweight Walker with four wheels since the Walker I had was difficult to push and walk with. I was told people donate their walkers. She told me No that they didn't have anything with four wheels
and I felt as though they didn't offer to show me other walkers or anything.. I left their feeling very disappointed and I thought they lacked compassion, and maybe felt I didn't need a better one...

I took a friend / neighbor here to pick up a rotating walker and returned a cane that her late husband had used during his illness. You make a donation, and if the equipment is available, it's yours to use until no longer is needed. The two ladies were very friendly and helpful! It's really a great place in these times of need!

I took a friend / neighbor here on Thursday to get a special walker. The ladies were awesome, kind, and helpful.
I strongly recommend that anyone in need of specific medical equipment. Call first and speak with Missy.
You make a donation to use equipment!
We all know how expensive things have gotten !

I dropped by We Care of Lake County early this morning with my donation of ostomy supplies. I met a warm and friendly gal named Wanda. I was telling Wanda how many times I must have driven by their location on my way to my former PCP. I never realized such a valuable organization was right there! Looking at the shared images on google for this organization gives one a good perspective of the various types of medical equipment. It was after I left my donation that I came home and was looking at their donations page on their website and saw "ostomy supplies" listed. So that's the place to take them so that others can benefit from these type of medical supplies!

My best friend had gotten an abscess on her spine in 2017 . She had to have multiple surgeries over a few months. The whole ordeal left her paralyzed. Upon hearing this news she got severely worried about how we're we going to pay for all of the medical equipment that we'd need for her at home. This business paid for a used hospital bed, a hoyer lift, a wheelchair and a bedside toilet. We couldn't have paid for those items on our own. Thanks We Care so much for helping in such a desperate time as this. You're truly a God send
