Dr. Danica Carew is a great doctor! If the review was based solely on her then it'd be 5 stars. She's very caring, attentive, and has never rushed me. Unfortunately, her office staff does not share these same qualities. Every time I'm directed to have labs or treatment done, I make it a point to ask Dr. Carew to send me a copy of the lab order/ referral herself. Otherwise, I'll be stuck waiting 48 hours for a medical assistant to send the information over. (IF SHE CAN FIND IT) This type of passiveness is what triggers patients all across the USA to give up on seeking care. Healthcare is complicated enough without a disorganized office adding fuel to the dumpster-fire. The office staff is negatively impacting the overall quality of care these amazing providers give.

The physicians are wonderful, however the staff is really unprofessional. I have been calling for the past three weeks for a prescription approval. I kept getting the gait keepers who took my phone number and never got a call back. They canceled my appointment, never got a call but when I reached there. I was told very nonchalantly that they called me and left me a voicemail message that I never received. I even showed them I had no missed calls from them, they couldn’t care less.

Dr. Carew is an amazing doctor. However his office staff makes the experience awful. They are rude, nasty and don’t ever want to help. I dropped off FMLA paperwork on a Wednesday. I called a week later and was told it was filled out under my father’s information, who happens to be a patient with him as well. Then I was told the office manager wasn’t in and was still working on them. Seems she only works once a week. The staff had me on hold for 30 minutes and never answered the phone.

Both Dr. Carews are awesome doctors but the office staffs are horribly unprofessional, unreliable and neglectful . They lack the ability to properly operate and manage the office. They are rude. I have been calling to get a simple refill for both my parents done the first day I was placed on hold for an obscene amount of time then when I got a young lady on the phone she verified my parents I literally went over the list of medications need she repeated back oh all of the current medication an she started mouthing the list back and saying the wrong medications . I corrected her and went through the list again and asked her if got them .she told me she did and they will be sent to their pharmacist. Later that day I checked with the pharmacist and the refills placed were for medications that were discontinued . I called back to get this corrected and was placed on a Neverending loop of a hold to me calling back and getting a voicemail that I could not leave a message on . Forwarding to this morning were I call and was placed on an immediate hold which lasted for 30 minutes until someone hung up the call on their end, and I tried calling them back to back and kept on getting forwarded to the voice mail which was full so I could leave a voice message this went on for 30 minutes. Not to mention I had been trying to get in touch with doctor Carew since last month regarding the he'll I went through with his staff trying to get things taken care of for both my parents surgeries and the office staff was being difficult so requested a personal call from the doctor but that message was never relayed. So although the Doctors are exceptional, it really isn't worth the Hassel .

I made a post of Facebook for a good primary care physician. I want to find the post because whoever referred me needs to come back and get the same treatment I received.
I called initially in October to schedule a annual appointment for myself and my husband. They scheduled us for December 4th
They then called and said that the office wasn’t open so we would need to reschedule. They moved that date to 1/29. It’s 2 appointments were both 25 mins late. I tell my husband it’s ok they never see you on time anyway. We go inside the lobby is full 8 people are waiting. We sit for 22 mins before the secretary says that our appointments were rescheduled due to no show.
YOU CANT BE SERIOUS.
1.) the dr hasn’t even called us to the back for our appt.
2.) you let us sit and didn’t say a word
3.) why didn’t anyone call us prior to verify if we were coming before cancelling the appt.
The front end staff was majorly incoherent and really couldn’t grasp as to how 1 time was their inconvenience and we swallowed it after calling out for work. Now today it’s on us and she’s saying our appt was cancelled. In all fairness I don’t believe this is how I would want to treat anyone. This isn’t a restaurant or hair appt it’s a dr’s appt this is very serious.
I won’t be recommending anyone the atmosphere isn’t welcoming to me. I would recommend mindfulness training or empathy training.

This is the worst treatment I have had from a provider and the office. 20 days after telehealth visit, I am still waiting to receive my lab work and other orders put in. I have been going to this office for 15 plus years. I called the office about 10 times. No update. Incompetent service over all.

Dr. Carew is an excellent doctor who carefully
listens to his patients health concerns without ever rushing. He treats you with the upmost respect and kindness.

I have had the pleasure of being his patient for the past 10 years. Dr. Carew is very caring and compassionate. He is very professional and has great work ethics.

I cannot me to the best possible specialists when I have been in need of one.

In addition I would like to sincerely extend my gratitude, appreciation and thanks to Dr. Danika Carew who has also provided me with with the same level of care and has immensely helped me with my health issues. Dr. Carew pays close attention to your issues and concerns and addresses them expeditiously.

Dr. Carew as well as Dr. Danika are dedicated medical professionals with great work ethics and are equally compassionate and caring.

Both doctors throughout the years have consistently addressed my health condition and concerns which have resulted in a very positive outcome.

I would like to humbly thank both doctors. They are truly amazing professionals and I can honestly say that because of their care my quality of life has dramatically changed for the better.

If you are looking for a doctor who treats you like his own family, then Dr. Carew is who you need to see!

My family has been seeing him for over 10 years. I have never met a doctor who treats his patients with such compassion and care. Dr. Carew is not only the most compassionate doctor I have met, but his knowledge in this field and expertise is like no other. He is a blessing to our family. I highly recommend Dr. Carew and his staff!!!! We are so very thankful for all of them!!
