First of all the customer service here is HORRIBLE. Yesterday my family & I went to visit a relative and the woman at the front watched us walk in and get down the hallway before telling us we needed to
come back and sign in. No greeting, nothing. I didn’t even know she worked there.
Today, she was actually at the front desk … again no greeting or anything. My grandma’s suitemate tested positive for COVID but she was negative, so we were initially told there was some other protocol to go see her with an escort to her room. So we told her, thinking we’d have some directions. Nothing. She just looked at us. We go to sign in, my sister says my grandma is in a different room than what I wrote, so I erased it. The woman sat there, listened to us talk about the room … my sister asked if I know where I’m going and that’s when they said she wasn’t moved like we were originally told.
But that’s not even the biggest issue of the day. We went into the room, they tell us to get a gown. Barely pointed to it. I asked why my grandma was still in there with a Covid patient when she was negative … they tell me they had to prep the room to move them. THREE HOURS it took to move them. The staff told me “she’s already been exposed so we have to treat her like a COVID patient” what It was 2p when my aunt said her suitemate tested positive and almost 7p when my grandma was finally moved. Absolutely unacceptable.
I understand quality staff is hard to find but to have people at the front chilling and not looking like they work there along with nurses who have no sense of urgency or concern is ridiculous.
