I was very impressed with this practice and staff! Dr. Scheufler’s practice was very friendly and professional on educating me through my implant procedure. Scary procedure but this practice takes a lot of pride and care on both their patients and craftsmanship. After 5 months - the implant surgery and process was a success! I am so happy I went through with the procedure and implant recommendation. I will definitely return in the future if any dentistry oral surgery is required. I had a great experience with Dr Eric Scheufler recently. I needed a couple of teeth extracted because of a root canal 30 years ago had gone bad. In a nutshell, he thoroughly explained everything to me, including expectations after the procedure, performed the work PAINLESSLY (I hate dentists btw), including two extractions, PRP, gone grafts, implant posts. And he gave me a projected schedule/timeline for completing the work.
It’s been a week now, everything seems to be progressing well, healing very nicely. Didn’t really need it but before the local wore off I took a pain pill he prescribed, the local wore off later and except for some tenderness that you’d expect from a surgical procedure, the pain was minimal. After that one pain pill, I took Tylenol for a few days and it was all I needed. Very good experience (did I mention I hate dentists) and would highly recommend him if you’re looking for that kind of work.

I was advised that I needed to have a tooth implant. I did not know what that entailed but was dreading the experience. No doubt, that is a common reaction from patients. This turned out to be a successful experience with very good results.

I was referred to Dr. Eric Scheufler for the surgery.

No doubt, there are places that provide implants that may be less expensive as some are popping up as implants appear to becoming more common. I researched several options and concluded this facility was the one I wanted to use based on reputation, reviews, and training.

Despite my initial trepidation—discomfort and time to heal are inevitable—the experience was much better than I had feared.

The staff in Dr. Scheufler's office was very professional and helpful. This portion of the implant procedure required several visits. An anesthetic was used for the first part of the surgery. My questions, and I had a few, were all answered thoroughly and professionally prior to the removal and insertion of the implant.

The initial process called for several months of healing after the removal of the problem tooth and the implant being installed. The prescriptions I was to use prior to and after the initial surgery were outlined and I was given an explanation of what each one was designed to do.

The removal and bone grafting went quickly and was painless (not surprising, as I was under an anesthetic). There was some discomfort after the process but it was not a serious problem. I had a follow-up checkup, with a few more questions. Dr. Scheufler was direct, answered my questions (and I few I had not thought to ask) about the process, and he projects a confident, professional attitude and demeanor.

His direct approach put me at ease with the knowledge I was in the hands of a very competent surgeon. Everything proceeded as he had said it would and in the time frame outlined.

The several women in the office with whom I interacted during the process (I think it was all of them), were very friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable and worked to make appointments and adjustments as necessary to meet our personal schedules.

The office is well managed. The process moved quickly, and the facility is very neat and clean. They appeared to be using the latest equipment for working with patients and I felt at ease and comfortable throughout the several months I had occasion to interact with them.

In short, I was very pleased that we were referred to and used the services of Miramar Beach Facial and Oral Surgery!
