Mom blossomed while living at The Blake. The staff and other residents became our extended family - looking out for Mom and each other and laughing almost every day. As her daughter, who lives far away, I was comforted and relieved knowing Mom was receiving the care and help she needed daily. Management and nursing staff regularly evaluated Mom's care needs, discussed them with us and adjusted when necessary. Any concerns or questions we had, were addressed in person with Mom and via phone call or email with me. Mom often said she was very pleased making the move to The Blake - and was happy to make so many new friends. We were so very happy that Mom was so well cared for and had such a beautiful and loving environment during her last years. Thank you to all our Blake family.

My husband and I have lived at The Blake at Miramar Beach for six months. This is the epitome of Senior/Assisted living. The facility is absolutely beautiful, the staff is wonderful, so attentive and accommodating. The dining room has numerous selections to satisfy every palate. The Blake excursions are numerous and always an adventure. I actually hate leaving The Blake but it’s time to have our family closer. We have no family in Florida but I consider all the residents, staff, and employees my family. Miramar Beach will be our vacation destination in the near future and there is no doubt that we will visit The Blake on a regular basis.

EVERYTHING about The Blake is AMAZING-the facility, leadership, nurses and staff!! It is such a wonderful community. Life at The Blake is like living on a cruise ship on land with constant support, service, compassion and activities where everyone is so happy. I am so grateful our Mom chose The Blake over many facilities that we considered in the Destin-FWB-Niceville area. The Blake truly gave her daily happiness and care in the final 20 months of her life.

October 23, 2021 was a day of excitement, transition and some trepidation as I was moving my aunt from a memory care facility over to The Blake. First impressions were excellent but there is more to trusting the care of a loved one than a beautiful building and attractive furnishings. In the first few days, I watched my aunt make new friends, laugh with the staff and participate in fun activities. The food, according to her was delicious and she loved her new room as everything was clean and fresh. During her three months at The Blake I have been amazed at the attentiveness and professionalism of all the Staff and their engagement with the residents. I have peace of mind knowing that my aunt is in the best possible place and she will be happy and comfortable in her remaining years.

The Blake at Miramar Beach is a first rate Community! The buildings and grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is compassionate and attentive and the food is incredible! Our family moved mom into the Blake on June 15. Being from Washington State it was so hard being 3000 miles away from her. For the 1st time ever, I am leaving to go home with no worries on her safety and level of care. Mom has lived in multiple senior facilities but the Blake is the only one that I feel mom is safe and cared for. They have loving staff who truly care about Mom. What sums this up is when I sign mom in after taking her out the kiosk says Welcome Home. This is the final home for Mom and she loves it.
