This is one of the best blood labs that I’ve been to. They were super helpful and nice to us. We had to wait a little while but that’s because our insurance was messed up but they helped fix it. Getting blood taken was super quick and a nice change from some of the other places I’ve been.

Terribly terribly disappointed! Had a hip replacement here Feb 2019. I purposely chose this hospital over Fort Walton Beach Medical Center because FWB Medical Center has such a horrible reputation. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am! So after a total hip replacement, I was in excruciating pain and all I wanted to do was roll over to my side so I rang for the nurse and somebody came in and I told him what I wanted and he just stood there and stared at me! When I said "can't you help me?" he said, and I quote "I don't know what to do." Seriously?! Turns out it was a tech not a nurse but regardless he should have said "let me go get the nurse." Also, the nurse that took care of me with horrible! She was 2 hours late to get me my pain medication and when I asked why it took so long she told me that she had been there an hour ago but I was sleeping and it was their policy not to give pain medication while a patient is sleeping. I call BS because I had been sleeping previously and they woke me up to give me pain medication! Aside from that, even if she was there an hour before, that meant that it took her an hour to get me the pain medication to begin with! My 3-day experience was pretty much like that the whole time. The physical therapist came in the morning made me move my toes or feet and left. He was in there a total of maybe 3 minutes every morning. It was a complete waste of my time! Aside from that, the food was great! Strangely enough, their meals were awesome!

Waited an hour for a simple blood draw and had to leave for another appointment. There was no one at the desk so I couldn't even get my blood work sheet back. Now I have to go to back to the doctor's office to get another sheet, and start this all over again, but not here.

Waited an hour to get my labs only to find out the following week that they only collected one of the 5 samples required. This shows extreme disorganization and incompetence. My experience convinced me to switch to a different hospital for prenatal care.

Making an appointment at this on campus hospital lab facility is a JOKE! The woman that checks you in is loud and blames her computer for why they are running late. She screams loud enough from behind her cubicle so she's sure all can hear. The thing is... that was the same excuse used when my husband was here weeks ago. If true... Get here earlier and check your equipment! UNPROFESSIONAL!
I had a SCHEDULED 0630 appt for straightforward bloodwork so that I could make another appointment at 0730. IT IS 0705 and I am still waiting with many others. STOP MAKING APPOINTMENTS WITH SCHEDULERS YOU HAVE NO HOPE OF KEEPING! I WILL USE DESTIN SHOPS EXPRESS FROM NOW ON AS I HAVE DONE IN THE PAST!

This lab DOES NOT honor appointments.
I spent 30 minutes on phone making 0630 appt,, 10 minutes checking in on line which includes taking photos of ins. cards and driver's lic. AND showed up at 0618 for 0630 appt. After my scheduled time of 0630 had passed, others with NO appt were taken before me.
This is unacceptable.

Medical staff is excellent, but the office staff could be more courteous when interacting with patients. People come in sick and scared only to be spoken to, condescendingly. There is no excuse for that.
