I went in for a colonoscopy. Had to wait about 20min. No big deal. Nurse apologized for the wait. Front desk very friendly. Nurses in back excellent. Highly recommend this surgery center.

Dr Rahhal is an excellent gastroenterologist and has performed colonoscopies on my wife and I. The staff at the Mohawk Surgery Center is great- efficient, organized, and exceptionally friendly and caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

I had trigger finger release surgery and cannot say enough about staff. I was brought in promptly. Kudos to entire staff, Amanda, Tony, and Cassandra and others They were personable, comforting and very engaging. Highly recommend this facility. Also thank you to Dr. Feiner who I have been so fortunate to have met when we first moved to Florida. He is kind ,caring and his bedside manner is superb.

I had total hip replacement surgery on my right hip this morning and the staff were amazing. Customer service was great and helpful. Amanda, Mark and another gentleman were exceptional, personable and professional. The place was clean and provided a very comfortable experience. Thank you all!!

Amazing team! I now have visited this facility 3 times for different procedures with 2 different doctors in the past few months. During each visit the staff and medical professionals were not only pleasant, but really knew how to make me feel comfortable. Some nurses that I met on earlier visits even remembered me.

During my most recent visit my nurse, Kelly (with a Y), was so kind to me, that I intentionally sought her out to thank her after my procedure. I would be happy to have her attending to me again in the future. Vickie is wonderful too - both can put in an I line with mimimal effort and discomfort!

I made the appointment over a month and a half ago. I talked to one person shortly after about weight, height and health issues. And then nothing. On 2/20, i received an email telling to stop taking ibuprofen a week before the procedure. Since, the procedure was scheduled for 2/23 and I take it every day, I was concerned. I left several messages and nothing. I googled how to do the prep so I was prepared. Finally, got a call back and was told the prep stuff was sent to CVS a month ago. She was supposed to reorder it. Didn't happen. Cvs took care of me. I got a phone call at 330 on 2/22, canceled my appointment because of my weight. They just figured this out?!? Never again. Waste of my time

De Rahhal performed a colonoscopy procedure on me…..this was my first one and the first time in my 50 plus years, I have had to be put under any kind of anesthesia……I was extremely nervous and the anxiety was over the top….well, from the moment I walked in to when I was discharged, every one at the facility treated me so well and respectful…..the nurses put me at total ease and reassured me that everything was gonna be ok…..the anesthesiologist was awesome…..so laid back and confident speaking….was rolled back to the room….doc came in and introduced himself, made a funny joke, and then I was told good night….woke up in recovery……thanks you all….👍🏽

1. NO COMMUNICATION & 2. BLAMING PATIENT

Nurse called patient's name. Patient went to prep for surgery. Nurse did not inform patient's spouse that he would not see her again before her surgery, nor did said nurse allow spouse to see patient before surgery. Spouse was left wondering in waiting room for four hours. Meanwhile, patient waited, prepped, alone and nervous in a bed for over two hours.

Patient now under anesthesia and colonoscopy procedure taking place. Complications of fluid coming up the throat and being asperated resulted in stopping the procedure and waking the patient. Patient woke and began coughing uncontrollably while trying to take more than just shallow breaths.
The spouse, unaware of any updates, was still patiently waiting. AT NO POINT DID ANYONE ALERT THE SPOUSE to what was happening while he waited

Patient was told to keep an eye on body temperature, trained on using an incentive spirometer and given the green light to get dressed. A nurse then walked the patient out to the waiting room, five hours after scheduled procedure time. The first words from the nurse's mouth to the spouse was "the patient is a shallow-breathing stubborn trouble maker".

UNPROFESSIONAL

The staff does not seem to have been trained properly.
No concern for communicating any updates to waiting loved ones.
The patient felt scared and alone, heard no comforting words or reassurance that things are ok from any nurses.
Name calling, blaming and belittling the patient.
