My mother was sent home with IV antibiotics from hospital. Because of her complex state and needing these medications she came to live me with. This company was given my address as her alternative address and was told to use it for deliveries until further notice just Incase she was to go home. First shipment was fine. Medications were delivered by carrier and I was called before delivery to make sure someone would be home to receive medications. These medications that cost $$$$ have to be refrigerated upon arrival.
I had to call the company for her second delivery because I only had one antibiotic left. There excuse was that they haven’t received lab work. The lab work was done on Monday and it was Friday when I was calling them.... then they were like ok let us reach out to the physician. You would think the company would actually do this on their own since the type of antibiotics have to be monitored to make sure they are at a therapeutic level. After multiple discussions they finally told me medications would be delivered prior to her next dose.
The mailed it to the wrong address even though I confirmed with them again to use the alternative address. Thankfully my mother’s neighborhood seen the delivery and called us. Otherwise, $$$$ of antibiotics would of sat by her front door and went bad.
I call the company again to discuss with them the supplies that I would need and ask when her next antibiotic shipment would go out. They advised me tomorrow but the order was already made up. Then I had to ask and make sure they put in order for supplies needed to administer.....I confirmed AGAIN for the 4 or 5 th time to use the alternative address (my home) she assured me it was a warehouse mistake last time and this time it would be delivered to my door. They would even call me with a tracking number.
Well, I have been calling the company all day for tracking number and looking for FedEx and guess where her medications were delivered!!!!! TO THE WRONG ADDRESS.
There moto is “quality care and excellent customer service”.
When someone is depending on medications that their life is dependent on and the patients family has to continually call to make sure the company is doing their job....is not right!!!
I would give zero stars if I could but that is not an option. After speaking with company multiple times these mistakes shouldn’t happen.
I called the company 7-10 times today with NO answer.
