My son has been attending Milestones for almost a year and he loves it. The overall environment from when we first step foot into the building was warm and welcoming vs. other places feel cold and uncomfortable. Every staff member we have met has been amazing; Stacy and Nancy in the front office are incredible. My son has worked with two different counselors, Claire and Skye, and both counselors have helped showed progress in his behavior. We drive 45 minutes to bring him to counseling when there are other places much closer.

I recommend Milestones to anyone looking to provide counseling services to their kids.

If you are a parent that needs a grace period this is not the place for you if you are a parent with a newborn this is not the place for you if you are a parent that needs help for your child this is not the place for you if you are late for any reason this is not the place for you their was one helpful lady that I did speak to but the other lady I spoke with I think was the owner and she was very rude and not helpful at all they have strict rule here so if you’re not 15 mins early for your intake for any reason don’t waste your time if you don’t cancel 48 hours ahead of time to reschedule don’t waste your time and if you don’t want to be treated poorly with no understanding don’t go here

My little one has been a patient of Mrs. Val's for 3 years and I am and have always been amazed and grateful at how much of a positive impact her sessions have made for my daughter. Most parents to ASD children can relate to how seemingly impossible it can be to find doctors or mental health professionals who provide a consistently positive experience for our children. We have tried other counseling centers in the area but none have compared to the steady growth my child has experienced with milestone counseling. The friendly and professional staff and welcoming and knowledgeable demeanor of ALL of milestone's counseling professionals leave parents like myself feeling certain that the right choice has been made for the mental health and well being of our little ones. First and foremost, let me say in 38 years I have only written one bad review. And this place warrants a second. I’ve never known a therapist to take vulnerable children and use them as a means to profiteer and fill up their billable hours. Geron by far is the most horrific human being I have ever met, and he talks out of both sides of his mouth; so beware ! Stay away from Milestone counseling !

Nancy thank you, for your help and compassion from the bottom of my heart. Especially if thinking outside of the box that if and it comes to as difficult times like these that you are in such a situation. Presumably when the majority of the clients must be undergoing trials and tribulations in order to even be requiring such services as family counseling. Due to maybe post misfortunate traumatic event and or present behavioral challenges their family may be facing that are so overwhelming that you go as far as requiring guidance in order to ensure their families futures overall peace of mind that very well could even depend on it. During times like these we are truly blessed to have an establishment such as Milestone counciling that’s even shockingly local. With counselors as kind hearted as my favorite counselor Marcia, and child’s new favorite counselor Jennifer. All the way around back to the person in which you speak to the most. The trusted though sometimes less accredited role as precedent as the receptionist. To be so lucky to have such one as the original Page that will not be forgotten and now thankfully her replacement to be as understanding and heartfelt as wonderful Mrs. Nancy. Ultimately and assuring as a whole. Truly is comforting to know you have such a place to call to that you know you can count on despite the severity of your current family crisis. Is uplifting and feels like a weight has lifted off your shoulders, which that for me personally speaks volumes.

My healing journey began with Candice in the front office finding a time that worked for my schedule. She is a warm and welcoming person - which made me feel like I was off to a good start with Milestone!

Geron put me at ease while learning more about me and my relationships. It was recommended that I work with Valarie.

Valarie and I charted a course and hoped for outcomes. We met weekly and addressed all of my goals. I'm so happy to say that Friday was my last session!

My heartfelt thanks to this amazing counseling team for helping me achieve those goals and setting me on a path for healthier internal thought processes - and improved personal relationships.

I have been taking my children to Milestone Counseling since we moved to the area 4 years ago. My oldest son has always had a hard time opening up to anyone and within 3 months we started to notice a welcomed change in his attitude and personality. The entire staff at Milestones was extremely helpful thru many difficult times in our lives and we continue to see them. It is so helpful to just have someone to talk to and that can relate to your situation and give you the coping skills that are required to deal with life's challenges.
