I cannot say enough great things about Recovery Unplugged. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with warmth, compassion, and understanding. The entire team, from the counselors to the support staff, provided top-notch care and truly made me feel valued as an individual, not just another patient.

Their unique approach, combining music with traditional therapies, really helped me connect with my emotions and process my recovery in a meaningful way. The level of support and encouragement I received every step of the way made a world of difference. They tailored a treatment plan specifically for me, addressing my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

A family member was there as a client. The stories she told me : clients having sex with each other, clients going into each others rooms, they could wear whatever they want, vape inside, sneak things inside, no boundaries for clients. Clients basically ran the facility. Each time she needed a tech , they were no where to be found. It seems to be a money driven place that only cares about numbers and not impact. How can a client be disciplined in the real world if they are in a facility where they are supposed to get help lets them do whatever they want?

Going to this rehab was one of the best experiences ever for me.The fact that they incorporate music into recovery is genius. Music tells stories and brings up emotions that we haven't felt for some time. The groups are very educational but also fun and creative. The location is great and the staff is friendly.

This program changes lives. All the way from the Executive Director from detox until your finished with IOP, the staff truly care and will help you- help yourself. The Lakeworth location, which is detox-is choppy I would say. Some nurses are fantastic, others, it’s an ego trip on who they can refuse meds to. I’m pretty sure that’s everywhere, and if your heart is in the right place, that stuff won’t hold power over you. Staff are addicts and alcoholics too, who through the program, they’ve managed to go back to school and start families, and help others’. I was so well taken care of by all the techs (who are literally the bomb) and the place has its own vibe, being musically based. I have lots of love for RU, thank you for an amazing year! 🌸

I have nothing but good things to say about Recovery Unplugged. I attended and completed their full program. Detox, Residential, PHP, IOP, Halfway, and 3/4 Residential Living. Having been to other treatment centers, Recovery Unplugged is hands down the best. They foster a culture of community and support that most other places strive to but fail at achieving. They have a weekly alumni group that is well attended and they have Alumni events every month. Their Alumni staff is always available if you are struggling or need help. They also assist you with seeing your doctors and managing your medication after treatment. One of the biggest factors that initially drew me to Recovery Unplugged was the fact that you can bring your dog with you! At the time I had an 9 month old dog and I didn't want to abandon her. I know many people are in a similar situation. This prevented me from seeking treatment sooner. It's 9 months later. My dog attended all the phases of treatment with me. It was really a great experience. There were other patients who had their dogs there as well and my dog got to play and interact with them. My dog acted like she was on vacation. She had a great time. Taking care of her has been an important part of my recovery journey. The unconditional love of an animal is one of the things that motivates me to be a better human being. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could.

My suggestion if you decide to come here for PHP or IOP is to make sure you speak with your insurance to make sure the numbers all add up. I called there admissions and gave them my insurance info. They said that I had a 1200 copay which didn't match the numbers which was provided by my insurance which is Oscar. Once I confronted them on this matter then they all of a sudden said I had no copay. So once again there admissions is very dishonest but I can't speak for there therapy for unfortunately I never made it that far for they left a bad taste in my mouth.
