Last Resort. I've read all the struggles within reviews regarding billing, insurance, etc. I had issues with the app as well as being greatly disappointed with the provider himself. The App reset after I filled out all the forms and added the payment information and I had to start over. Then the app only lets you choose one symptom which leads the doctor down the wrong path. A final question allows you to share 'what else the doctor needs to know'. I put a great deal of detail hear, but he claims he cannot see that information on his end (why did I spend 15 minutes providing this detail). I did get a doctor to call with in 5 minutes (after 45 minutes filling out the forms and repeating them to due a website glitch). I found the doctor to be terribly arrogant and a bit demeaning in how he talked to me. He also didn't want to listen to me as I explained my symptoms. He continually cut me off or spoke over me. While the service was prompt and convenient, I think I'd rather just wait in line at a clinic and deal with a doctor face to face. Maybe some folks who take this work are just trying to make quick buck and are not motivated to execute due diligence and the proper standard of care. I'm sure there are some good providers as well, but I was disappointed in the provider experience. Fortunately, I did receive an antibiotic prescription in the end which is what I probably need. Based on my experience, I would only recommend this as a last resort based on my experience with an arrogant *ss of a provider and all the billing issues I see from other reviews.

I have a cold and went through this service to get a doctors note. I told them my employer doesn’t accept notes without an actual signature. They told me it’s their policy not to provide doctors note with signature to protect their doctors. Ummm? I asked for a refund and they refused bc service was already rendered. I’ve used this service several times before. Now, I will definitely never be using this service every again. I’m sick and have to deal with their BS. And please spare me the reply with ā€œcontact us to discussā€. Your service is a waste of money and time.

MDLIVE cheated me out of $600. I'm 74 and have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. They should have filed with BCBS for two telehealth visits but charged my credit card. Five months of making calls, writing letters, and even trying to dispute the transaction with my credit card company have failed. I've written to a state agency and heard nothing. The saddest part is that my two telehealth visits were to get help with depression. MDLIVE personnel have lied and even changed my account history.

I have used md live in the past and had no issues but yesterday I was connected to a dr that obviously did not listen to my symptoms. He literally called in a script for Motrin for my sinus infection . He did this so he could take my 89.00 cuz he supposedly gave me treatment. Then I spiked a fever in middle of night was in so much pain from my sinus so I called again and they gave me to another Dr that I could not even understand and he then yelled at me because I couldn’t understand his questions . I then had enough and I’m going to to urgent care once I can get enough energy to do so . Don’t waste your time and money here .

Absolute scam! Talked to one of their providers who disregarded everything I told her about my medical history and recommended treatment that I had already tried and was ineffective. Called back to speak to a different provider, they couldn't connect me unless I paid again, but I couldn't even do that because they couldn't charge my same card twice in one day. I ended up having to go to urgent care where a real doctor immediately prescribed the correct and needed treatment.

MDLive said I to have call back to get refunded for my horrible experience with the idiot provider. I did. They said they had no record of that when I called back. I called again and they could find the notes, but then said I'd get an email in 45 DAYS to tell me if it was approved or not. Then I was lied to and told I was being transferred to a supervisor. I called back again. These people will stop at nothing to string you out. I spent over an hour total on the phone and am no closer to receiving the refund they told me to call back for. THEY OFFERED IT TO ME! I didn't ask for it. Now they're playing games and refusing to offer any real resolution.

Will be reporting to BBB. Will be charging back via my card issuer. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

We had an emergency during the scheduled appointment time and had to hang up 5 mins into a psychiatric appointment. They refused to refund any of the $250. They were so unhelpful. They just want your money.

What a scam. They charge you up front and you cannot cancel even prior to being seen. I tried canceling the same day prior to ever discussing anything with a dermatologist but was unable to so by calling or going online or through the app. The appointment time still says ā€œupcomingā€ on the app. After having spoken to many representatives about trying to cancel this appointment I was told that my consultation can take up to 72 hours. Well…the provider pretty much waited up to 72 hours. What about LIVE consultation is this mdLIVE Was able to call the standard line the next day and get the treatment I needed…and for FREE. The dermatologist never called or email. Just sent a treatment plan through the app, which again still says upcoming. Never got notified of the treatment plan. Very misleading. And by the time I found out about this, I was already in another state by the time they provided a plan and prescription to a pharmacy in another state. I didn’t want to leave this review, but I’ve called over dozen times and MD LIVE does not have a billing department I can speak to. It’s always, ā€œwe’ll send a message to the provider and see what they say.ā€ What a joke. I will be posting this review online and Reddit. Terrible customer service. Over promise, under deliver. Bait and switch. Take your money up front and hope you go somewhere else. Very very disappointed. Here attached is a picture of the app showing that my appointment is still ā€œupcomingā€

They literally have my credit card on file yet are texting me about a past due balance. When I click the link in the app I get some technical message and can't login. I texted you back a screenshot. Please use the GD card on file and stop bothering me.
