She was very thorough and she listened and performed all necessary testing. She seen me as a mom and sick human and was genuinely concerned. I went in as walk in and the process was easy, fast, and efficient. I’m thinking about making them my family physician. Great service !!! Dessie Walimaa was Awesome !!

I just recently returned from a trip
abroad and was symptomatic for a UTI. My primary care could not see me. I called this practice and was seen within 30 minutes. Dessie was very professional and empathic. She started me on a broad spectrum antibiotic until the culture results could be completed. As soon as they received the results, I was contacted for further medical care instructions. It’s been a long time since I’ve had medical care that followed up in such professional manner. Usually I’m the one chasing them! Thank you Dessie and staff! Five star service!

It took two hours to het to see her the Friday before Christmas. At no time were there more than 10 people in the waiting room. That was a bit disappointing.

However, once I got in to see her, she was great. Attentive, listened well to what I had to say with all the history relating to the problem and why I was therefore worried. She examined the problem, analyzed it with what I had related, and put my worries to rest. I left with a clear treatment plan and a set of factors to look for to know if the problem was getting worse.

A GREAT interaction. I will return there the next time. It was definitely not worth going to the Emergency room.

DESSIE WAS AWESOME!! I WAS VERY CONCERNED WHEN I CAME IN TO SEE HER!! She was very helpful polite and informative.
She gave me the medicationI needed to clear up what was going on..After 1 dose ofcthe medication I started getting better. I have NEVER been to SRMC Walk IN Clinic on Avalon Blvd but If I ever need to in the future I will NOT hesitate!! It was a great experience and I will definitely let my FAMILY And FRIENDS know also!!!

She is very gentle, soft spoken, understanding that I’m deaf, using my iPhone note, she reads what I say this or that, she knows I wasn’t feeling good, the nose swap and shows that I had flu positive A, and I appreciate with her what she have done helped me. Thank you.
