island doctors Milton. Money Money Money. what does that mean? It simply means that we as patients are a cash cow and that everything done here is to get more billing period. They dont want to give you referrals....they say that they can do it all here at this office. Dermatology skin in particular, I was told that we can do all youre needs here. Even when you dont need something when you come in for a particular appointment, they end up doing something while your waiting like a cardiogram...what? Its all about billing, finding a way to invoice the insurance co. for something. We the people are cash cows........straight up. Find yourself another place....this experience was enlightening. Oh yes, I came in when i thought I had a broken bone in my right foot......a walk in (barely). After about 80 minutes, I finally got into a room and waited....No one addressed any concern about my pain, discomfort or possible fracture. No one asked or suggested that I elevate my foot. Instead, the nurse without any type of acknowledgement of the foot issue, had me lay down and have a cardio gram... "because youre due" was the statement. After another 30 minutes of waiting again, I realized they were not going to do anything to help about my foot. I left without seeing Dr. Williams . When I was initially a patient there, I was told to avoid going to ER because they were very expensive and that most of the time his office could handle it.
makes sense now, money money money, cash cow....believe me if you have any issues that need immediate care, DO NOT CALL ISLAND DOCTORS.........go to the ER.
