I selected Heritage Oaks Memory Care facility for my mom and glad I did. Dee and her staff have been outstanding with care, cleanings, meals, activities, and communications to keep me updated with mom. One can't expect 100% within a memory care facility. But this place does their best. I will highly recommend Heritage Oaks to care for your elderly folks 😀

My Mother lived in an assisted living facility until they along with my wife and I were not able to meet her needs. After researching memory care units we selected Heritage Oaks in Englewood. So far we have been extremely happy with the care and attention my Mother receives. The staff is friendly and efficient, especially the director , whom we can contact at any time with our concerns, which is taken care of in a timely manner. The activities director , nurses and cna's are great. They keep Mom busy with plenty of daytime activities. They also have a nice hair salon for folks to get their hair done. The food is very tasty with choices of meals. Overall , we would recommend this facility for the care of your LOVED ONES.

We moved my dad into Heritage Oaks a little over three years ago. At the time, he was welcomed with open arms, and in short time he acclimated to his new environment and enjoyed being with other residents and the staff. He loves the food and attention he gets, and he especially enjoys the music and activities they provide. Dementia is difficult to deal with, but Deana and the staff treat him with respect and kindness. Most of the time he thinks he has a job there and is so content to “be at work!” Living far away from him, I know I don’t have to worry about his well being. I highly recommend Heritage Oaks Memory Care to anyone who needs a loving, caring place for their family member with dementia.

My husband is a resident at Heritage Oaks. It was becoming very hard to care for him myself. After meeting with Deana, (who has the most positive attitude I have ever known) I knew I had found the right person and her staff to oversee his care. I think my husband is being well cared by the medical staff and caretakers. It seems there is some fun activities going on almost daily. The menu has lots of variety and is always nicely prepared. And, sometimes the staff bakes freshly baked cookies for the residents. I think it has been more beneficial for my husband to be surrounded by the other residents. He seems happy and content. There are courtyards where they can go out and enjoy the sunshine. If you have a loved one in need of memory care, I would encourage you to visit Heritage Oaks. It does feel almost like home.

My mother is a resident in Memory Care and I am thrilled with her care and the compassion she receives from the staff and Manager. They are attentive, willing to accommodate her needs, supportive, very loving to Mom, and follow up on any specific requests. They are open minded to feedback to improve any services/suggestions. Deana(Manager), Crystal, Alana, Patrick, Vickie, Janice, Franz, physical therapy, the Administrator, Ron, the receptionists, and the entire team know Mom by name and hug and give her so much affection. I am most grateful for the love given my Mother by the entire Heritage Oaks team. Thank you very much.

My mom is a resident here in the memory care housing and I am so grateful to have found Heritage Oaks. I moved her from a facility in CT to here over 6 months ago because I was that impressed. The staff has welcomed her and pays attention to all her needs. The team here engages with residents and provides a level of care and warmth she so deserves. I know she is safe and she is happier and more settled than she has been in years. I love the team here and would highly recommend Heritage Oaks to anyone considering them. Alzheimer’s sucks but Heritage Oaks has provided a level of dignity and respect that has allowed my mom to live her best life under the circumstances.

My husband is a current resident at Heritage Oaks in memory care. It was recommended to me by 3 people who had loved ones there. I cant say enough on how pleased I am with his care. He's dementia causes him to get set in certain routines and he won't change. They make him his favorite lunch of grill cheese and tomato soup everyday, as it's his request, even tho everyone else is having a different meal. They added a special channel to the TV so he could watch over and over and over his favorite show. As a retired nurse I notice the treatment of all the residents not just my husband. Others are always clean, clean clothes, and the staff is always sitting or interacting with them. The decision to place a loved one in a memory facility is very difficult. Knowing they are getting such good care helps with those emotions of making this decision. I would recommend Heritage oaks to anyone and I have recommend to many people.

My mother has been a resident in Memory Care for 2 years. I have never had a worry or concern about her safety or care. One of the reasons I chose Heritage Oaks was because of the activities and the way the staff did their best to involve every resident in some fashion in the activity, and they continue to do so even with staff changes and resident changes. Obviously in 2 years there have been staff changes. I visit my mother every other day and can say from personal experience that the current staff, from the top to the bottom, care about the residents (both in Memory Care and Assisted Living), do their best to always smile, engage with residents, work hard and are concerned about the cleanliness, health and welfare of all those under their care.
