I don’t typically leave reviews, but I was so impressed with the service I received today. From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable. I only was there to buy a simple knee brace, but they took the time to make sure I had exactly what I needed. Jim took the time to help me find the correct one, and didn’t push any specific one on me. I was very pleased and wanted to share my experience.

The man who answered the phone was rude and totally uncooperative when i was trying to calculate the availability for a doctor ordered oxygen monitor(24 hr monitor) for an 88 year old patient. All he would indicate was that there were others ahead in line, (not how many), that they had 3. He refused to give an estimate of timing when one would be available, a week, a day or two, only that he would call when one was available. Horrible experience.

My Husband just recently had to have a Walker for Parkinson's and we stopped in the Perkins Medical Supply Store in Sebastian , Florida to ask about one. The Salesman greated us as we walked in and directed us to the Walkers and then told us about the 159.00 with all the bells and whistles and none of the others. We had to ask all the questi9ons and then asked him to extend the arms if they would go up as my Husband is 6 ft. 1 in. He groaned ike it was a JOB and did it. I mentioned it still looked a little low and he said it was fine. While purchasing it I asked about Medicare Insurance Coverage and said it would not cover this one - only the 109.00 one as Medicare would not reimburse enough on the 159.00 and thry would not sumit the claim to Medicare So we purchased it - not knowing there were other Walkers on the market that would go higher and he never mentioned it. Yesterday his Neur. said he need a higher one and I called to ask about a refund so I could order one. Of course she asked if we used it and I said yes and was told WE SHOULD HAVE ASKED MORE QUESTIONS. I can not get my money back and the salesperson was also rude and made it sound like it was all our fault. I suggest you research the Walker you are going to buy - as no one at that Store will give you any information - just push you to the more expensive one. Poor Customer Service !

I visited Perkins Medical Center for the first time today and encounter Renee Cole. She was very abrupt and rude! She also gave me incorrect information about my insurance coverage. As a cancer survivor that need compression sleeves for life, I am usually treated kindly and with compassion.

I went in for a CPAP mask, Jim explains everything. Even adjusts the mask while you're there. I go to Perkins for all my major medical needs. Great place to go

Visited on 10/30/23 with an order in hand for a walking boot for my wife. Stood around for 10 minutes without either of the 2 men working there even making eye contact with me or acknowledging my presence in any way. Granted they were helping other customers but to completely ignore a customer who is carrying the equivalent of money in his hand for your business is just atrocious customer service. Finally, I spoke up and asked about a short walking boot. I was rudely directed to an area to view large walking boots. I was not told they could order a short one or anything else ... basically a take it or leave it attitude. At that point I walked out. I will not return. I'd rather pay for the boot through Amazon than give those clowns an ounce of business. I wonder if my age had anything to do with it as I'm obviously not old enough to be on Medicare. Maybe these guys pray on the elderly to profit from them/their insurance? I have no idea how they can stay in business otherwise. Best of luck to anyone having to deal with them. Bring patience and maybe even lunch.

I love Renee. Her customer service is on point and she goes above and beyond she greets and assists as soon as you walk through the door. Also
it's a plus to see plus size scrubs with print at a great price.

My wife called the Sebastian store and spoke with a man on Friday 11-15-23. The man told my wife to come to the store to pick up the e-stim pads for her tens unit. My wife has been in debilitating pain in bed, so I made the trip to Perkins. When I arrived and inquired from Renee about the pads, I was told they didn’t have the pads and that she couldn’t leave the phone because she would miss phone calls. I asked her to call the man and ask where the pads were. She told me that she wouldn’t disturb his lunch. I explained how important these pads are for pain relief, and that a 15 second phone call would solve the problem. She again replied (with attitude) , SHE’S NOT CALLING!! I left the store and called my wife to explain, my wife called immediately, as I watched Renee, now able to leave the phone, help some lady locate her item. Renee never did answer the phone, after telling me she couldn’t look for the e-stim pads. I called the Vero store and they had the pads, so I drove to Vero. I have always liked Perkins in Vero and been a long time customer. Never again will I enter the Sebastian store, I’d rather make the drive to Vero and be treated like a valuable customer. Just close the Sebastian store for everyone’s sake. Renee is loosing you business in Sebastian.
