My husband and I have been coming here for 8 years now, our first doctor moved so we became patients of Dr. Miller. We absolutely love her and her nurse Terry! They are always so sweet and genuinely care about our problems and she does everything to make sure we figure out what’s going on. I was so shocked to see the negative reviews for this place. I guess everyone has a different experience but ours has always been great. I will say the office staff isn’t always the friendliest but they have gotten better over the years. As far as calling to get an appointment, I have left a voicemail if they don’t answer when I call and they always get back to me quickly. I definitely recommend Dr. Miller if you are looking for a good doctor!

Dr Miller is a great doctor, very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly.

The desk staff could use some more training, particularly when it comes to dealing with people who are disabled. The main desk is too high for someone in a wheelchair, and the staff never bothered to direct us to the side desk where it's lower. They made things as hard as possible, such as putting paperwork and pens out of reach. You'd think they'd realize that not everyone can extend their arms to reach the staff person, and instead the staff person should get out of their chair to reach out to the person in the wheelchair.

The other issue is the building and parking lot, neither of which are truly wheelchair accessible. The doors don't have a button to open automatically, requiring someone in a wheelchair to ask for assistance to enter or exit the building.

The parking lot has 2 accessible spots (which aren't clearly marked), however anyone using a ramp to exit their vehicle from the side has to either block traffic or exit into a tree. (See attached photo)

You would think a medical facility would know better how to treat their patients, both inside and outside the facility, but this one needs quite a few updates and much better planning. Until changes are made to make this place more accessible, my rating will stay at 2 stars, despite the 5 start rating I would give otherwise.

My doctor was doctor Miller. I was never happy at this office: I just stayed cause it was close to home. Her new nurse is just as awful as her. Every time I go in for my appointment I feel like I am talked to like a child. She had a bad attitude Dr miller and this last phone call I made to get my refill she messaged me back very rudely and had her nurse call me and ask me if I thought dr miller was dumb or if I didn’t Know how to follow rules. I’m no Karen but I will let the board know of this. Avoid Dr miller and her staff. They all need hugs.I am a grown woman and won’t except anyone talking to me like I’m 5. Very unprofessional! I’m glad I am off their schedule!

I was excited to move to Tannehill area and even more excited that there was a medical facility right around the corner. What I have learned about this place is maybe it is good for routine prescription refills or sick visit here and there but that is about it. Over the past year I have seen them ... I have to say my health has not improved so time to find another doctor. I am of the mind that the doctors here are riding it out to retirement so onto another folks .. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

I have used this office for several years and have always been happy with service. This past year has been a disaster. The front desk is rude and arrogant. I need back surgery and I am waiting on scheduling. About 4 months ago Dr Shirey order an MRI and did X-rays. She gave me a referral to two different surgeons and Cahaba pain clinic. Finally time to schedule surgery and she will not sign the release form until I come back in tomorrow. I am in extreme pain and can’t walk without assistance. She has had the form for 10 days and I had to call them to find out why it hasn’t been done. I will go see her again tomorrow because I desperately need the surgery. Very disappointed with the health care I’ve gotten this past year. I’ve already had 3 back surgeries. I’m just so tired of incompetence. If things don’t improve I will have to find another clinic. With regrets I post this.

Dr Miller is a sweet person and I believe a good Dr. the problem is you cannot get to her if you have an urgency. The front office will not answer the phone. Goes to an answering machine. They show no signs of compassion when you are sick either. I always end up at another clinic because I need urgent care so therefore I will not go back. I will find another primary doctor where the office staff treats you the way patients should be treated. Ended up I had bronchitis and sinusitis diagnosed by a different Dr. they wasted no time in treating me. Every person I came in contact with included office clerks wished me to get well.

This by-far has been the worse medical experience. As a physician, this office staff, Dr Rosa Miller, and the billing office is embarrassing. My husband had a "routine physical" and was charged over $430 dollars. When questioned, they stated that was what insurance would not pay for (we have the best insurance available). Apparently, Rosa Miller, added "extra codes" to the bill that did not apply to the physical and were not even brought up during the visit. Sounds quite fraudulent! On return call, neither the billing office or myself could reach Rosa Miller or the office manager. I have been dealing with this for over 1 year. AVOID THIS OFFICE AND DOCTOR!

I made an appointment with Dr. Miller, upon my visit I was greeted by a friendly helpful staff. When I was taken back to be examined, I met with Dr. Millers nurse, who was fantastic, friendly, and extremely helpful. When Dr. Miller entered into the room and we started to discuss the reason for my visit, I was completely disregarded at first with the issues I informed for that I was having. I was told what I was going through was “normal” and that it wasn’t anything to be concerned about, this was before she even examined the issue I had stated. I felt overlooked, like I was some kind of addict attempting to procure drugs. This is unacceptable in my opinion, if a patient comes in with an issue, it is the doctors responsibility to listen to the patient, despite whatever ill-formed narrative the doctor has established in their own head. I would not recommend her, I will not be returning to this practice again and I strongly recommend anyone that has any type of orthopedic issues to look elsewhere first.
