Dr. Valdivia is an amazing doctor with many years of experience. He takes time to listen to his patients & their concerns. He has had many successful surgeries over the years & is highly recommended in our community!

Dr. Valdivia was so professional. My shoulder repair from a fall is 100%. It doesn’t get better than that. My knees had torn meniscus both are successes. I had gel shots in both knees also successful. His staff was very efficient and nice. I would recommend Dr. Valdivia and his staff to everyone.

Can't praise Dr Day and the entire staff enough! After taking a spill at work and breaking my foot, she did everything to keep me apprised of my choices to mend. The surgery was basically painless, and the recovery was well laid out. On every visit she was upbeat, professional and pleasant. I was given ample information on the healing process and what my limitations were. She definitely made a bad situation bearable. I won't go anywhere else for my family's podiatry needs.

One advantage to the pandemic is it's easier to get an appointment and there is little wait time once you get there.
I saw the P A. Sara and she was great. She explained what was going on with my knees, answered all my questions, explained my options, and let me decide what I was comfortable with. I appreciate my opinion counting in a doctor's office.
The entire staff was considerate and helpful. I informed them that I am partially deaf and they spoke slowly and clearly for me.
I will definitely return for continuing care and highly recommend this office to anyone with orthopedic needs.

I was a patient at The Orthopedic Center in Palm Bay. Gonzalo Valdivia was my physician and Sarah Thompson is the physicians assistant.
She pushed for me to have the surgeries, COMPLETELY MISLEAD ME on having both carpal and cubital surgery, telling me that ‘it would require 2-3 stitches and I would be healed and back to normal in about two weeks.’ NOT ONLY DID THEY LEAVE SUTURES IN MY HAND & ELBOW, but I still have little use of my hands, deep scarring in the palms of my hands that burn anytime my hands sweat or anything touches the incision site. My elbow is still extremely sensitive to anything that touches it. I cannot lay my arm down in bed, and wake up throughout the night with shocking pain in my wrists & palms of my hands.
When I told her that things were not right with the surgeries, she told me TO WAIT TWO MONTHS… and refused to let me see the doctor. She said I needed to make another appointment for that.
Steer clear of them and this establishment! I am contacting a malpractice attorney!! It has been almost 4 months and now they refuse to see me or return any phone calls!

My first appointment I was not very pleased. Got to my appointment early, waited in the waiting room forever. When I finally got called back, I waited in patient room for just as long. Got x Ray's of my knee while I was waiting. When Dr Valdivia came in and looked at the x Ray, he told me that I have severe arthritis in both of my knees (bone on bone). I asked him what we could do. He said I would eventually need surgery, but refused me to get it now cause of my age. He said I was to young. Insisted I get a cortisone shot and therapy. He gave me the shot and left the room. Told me to come back in 4 weeks. I went to therapy and my therapist said I can't do anything for bone on bone. I then realized I needed a second opinion. Went to another Dr and as soon as the Dr came in and seen my x Ray disc, he asked when I want to do surgery. I was shocked. Told him about my experience with this Dr and he said age has nothing to do with it. 3 weeks after my second appointment I am set for surgery. Very glad I got a second opinion!!!!

I usually don't review, but after coming here since last November it's been a downward swing. Their is one nurse I am happy with and that's it. After my surgery the doctor who has seen me hasn't done a thing for me. His PA, owe by the way doesn't work here anymore, was a joke! Coincidence? I don't think so! The appointment times are a joke and never correct. I won't say any names but if you want to know just ask! I will never recommend this doctor or Health First PERIOD!!! This organization is a joke at many levels. They monopolize the system in Brevard County! I just want to be done and will be looking for a second opinion out of Health First network! They can quickly mess up the bill but the service is atrocious! I have lived in Brevard since 1981 and it gets worse every year. You are better off with a private urgent care doctor. The rudeness of the surgery scheduler is very apparent. These rooms are extremely small and everything echo's when talking with the doctor or nurse. Where does privacy come into play? If you can hear us talking that means you can hear my medical information between the walls. Very rude on her part, but doesn't surprise me with her arrogant attitude. Nothing should really be a surprise!

Worst staff I have ever dealt with, 2nd appointment was at 3:30, showed up at 3:15. Was told by the staff at the front desk, my appointment was at 1:45. Had the appointment card in hand, she stated no its was not 3:30. I was wrong the computer was correct. No attempt to help the patient to reschedule, just argue. Nope sorry you turned away today and patient for life. Would not recommend.
