I am a patient of the chiropractor in the office, Dr. Lawson, who shares the front office and staff with Dr. Tran. I have always found them professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I also work in a medical setting where we take care of many of Dr. Tran's patients before, during, and after certain procedures. My colleagues and I all agree, he is the best at what he does. He is also very professional and very kind in all his dealings with everyone. Without exception! His patients love him. Should the need arise, God forbid, I will go to him myself. Highly recommend!

This is very upsetting, the first time I brought my dad they were nice and straight to the point on working with my dad. This second time I was in the procedure room with my father because I am the translator for him. Dr Tran was nice at first but then began talking about religion and marriage. He was unprofessional and racist it truly made me feel uncomfortable and upsetting that my father was laying face down defenseless. The things he said to be specific were “you guys are Mexican you guys ARE catholic every Mexican ARE catholic” “your parents should get back together people get lonely and have temptations” “if I see a beautiful woman walking by I can’t help but look it’s a human nature” I was professional myself and was quiet until he finished my fathers procedure. People have their own beliefs and have their own opinions but that was unprofessional and unnecessary.

When you call for an appointment for this office. Beware!!!..They tell you one thing, then when they find out what kind of insurance you have. They say...”.the doctor has to make the decision” if he will see you or not..really!! . They told me on the first phone call that I needed a referral from my doctors which is understandable! The front staff is the HUB for the office. So how can you make such terrible mistakes? I have fax the referral as well as my doctors office and the insurance company 2 times. You have to provide patient care to patient and patients expect that care. Especially when you are contracted with the insurance company’s. You are running a bad operation.Dr. Michael Tran you need a new staff. If this is how you run a pain management office you will soon find some troubles ahead.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tran for five years. My lower back pain was so bad I was desperate until my family doctor recommended Tran. I get radio frequency Rhizotomy treatments every six months and this painless procedure works every time!
Also, I find his staff friendly, accommodating and professional.
I have recommended Dr. Tran to many of my friends.

So far I have had two appointments, both bad experienceces. First appointment was 2:00 pm, I waited for an hour and fifteen minutes only to have to reschedule so I wasn't late picking children up. Rescheduled for 1:45 the following week. This time I waited for an hour and fourty five minutes before I was called back.

Once in the room I was moved to another room where the doctor sat with his back to me. Once he finally finished up and turned around we were interrupted four times by the front office gal. Dr Tran hurried through his questions and never gave me time to answer most of them. Needless to say, I left there feeling like I was not heard and a bit irritated that my time was not of equal value..

Scheduled for a cortisone injection next week and I pray that Dr Tran"s surgical skill far outweigh his interpersonal and social skills.

My suggestions are: First, consider that your patients are taking their valuable time to come to your office - respect their time. I'm sure if I showed up an hour and a half late you wouldn't see me. Secon try to stay focused and ask the front office to save questions for in between patients. Finally, possibly book fewer appointments if you need the extra time.

INCREDIBLY INAPPROPRIATE AND DIDNT WANT TO HELP ME.

I was referred to Dr. Tran because I have everyday headaches and migraines related to muscle issues in my head, neck and back. The first time I met him he asked me about if I was interested in starting a family at some point. I said someday but that I needed to address this issue first. He commented that pregnancy can induce endorphins that can help with pain and again i reiterated that I wanted to wait. He told me not to wait too long that my husband might get mad...

On my next visit, we evaluated my progress post a procedure he has done on me. I had a psoriatic patch on my neck and he commented "what happened to your neck?! Did your boyfriend burn you with a cigarette in bed last night?!" I stated no I have psoriasis. My HUSBAND doesn't even smoke.

When I needed to have an MRI for my insurance to cover another procedure and I wanted someone to go over the results with me. I had to make an appointment and because no one at the office wanted or explain to me what the results meant, I had to get my own results and do my own research. When I showed up for my appointment, I ended up seeing a P.A. (a guy I have never met before and was not told that's who I would be seeing) and not my doctor. I was made to pee test when I never had to before and I was told to try magnesium and a pill for skeletal muscle pain. My doctor finally came in and when I tried to engage in a conversation about trigger point injections, my doctor wouldn't even go into with me. He asked me what my pain level was. I said a 3 but it's not always a 3. His reply was you can't live with it? My response: I shouldn't have to. I'm a 31 year old woman and instead of having pills pushed at me, I wanted to fix whatever issue was going on. I have tried a lot of other treatments to get rid of this pain and my neurologist had referred me to a pain specialist for a reason. This man and his colleague minimized my pain and treated me as if I should be able to deal with it. All I ended up being told was to follow up in 4 weeks. That was 2 months ago. Between the lack of trying to help me with my daily pain and the super inappropriate comments, I will never go back.

I was in a tough spot and needed an appointment asap... Most practices were booked out 2+ weeks. The front desk staff was very helpful in getting an appointment quickly and worked with me on the phone to get my documents in order. Dr Tran is personable and helpful.
