Good atmosphere, clean, easy registration. Very polite smiling staff right from the beginning. Everyone I encountered were friendly with good communication. Although I was the only there when I first walked in several other folks came in after me but I was taken care of in a timely manner.
Dr took her time listening to me and explained things easy to understand. She was also patient when I had questions and again responded nicely.
Her team was great to me today.
Very pleased with today’s visit.
Prob took only 25 min in and out the door.
Not bad for an Urgent Care Clinic.

I have been to this office several times with my children. The online check in is quick and easy. It made our wait time a lot shorter. Once we got into an exam room, the provider came in quickly and was very thorough and knowledgeable. The medical staff is very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They also did their best to make the necessary throat swabs easier on the kids. The entire office was well organized, clean, and comfortable. Would take my children again.

I want to start by saying that the staff is wonderful and very polite! The 3 star rating is NOT for them. It is, however, for upper management to get some more help in the clinic. I went yesterday to get a DOT/CDL physical, and I waited for TWO HOURS to get called back. The actual appointment only took 30 minutes. So two and a half hours later, I was leaving there. Waiting that long is ENTIRELY UNACCEPTABLE for anyone. I would have gone to my regular doctor, but he doesn’t do DOT physicals. This was the only place I could find in Athens that does those. So I do appreciate that service, but the wait time is way too long.

We were there for 1 hour and 39 minutes for a sports physical. We walked in at around 12:40 and left at 2:20. Clinic is very clean and quiet. Nurse was very nice and doctor was too. I would definitely recommend and return but I would schedule an appointment next time.

This place is great if you have an urgent care need that isn’t life threatening. It is very clean and they see you very quickly upon arrival. The nurse David was very attentive and prescribed me some pain medication for my symptoms even though they couldn’t specify what kind of stomach bug I had. Overall, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and respectful.

This is the nicest and most proficient Walk In Clinic I have used. The staff was very efficient and professional. At the same time they treated me with care and concern. Should i need to go to a Walk In clinic again it will definitely be this one. Thank you to all of them.

Nurse practitioner, Elena Robertson, walked in and immediately told us our medical grade KN95s were worthless and didn’t work (they protect against 99% of particles). All medical studies disagree, and I was disabled by COVID in 2020. She said this to us as I was sitting in my wheelchair before saying anything else. Also immediately tried to diagnose my husband with COVID before any testing. Said she’s been diagnosing people with COVID even if their tests come back negative which means she’s not finding and treating the actual problem.Then went on a rant about mood disorders and ketamine treatments. He doesn’t have a mood disorder? Awful experience for anyone that is chronically ill or anyone that cares about their health in general.

I had an amazing experience at American Family Care. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. What really stood out was how fast and efficient they were. I didn't have to wait long, and they took care of everything promptly. Highly recommend!
