The doctors and nurses take their time to answer every question and concern, making us feel heard and valued. We've received comprehensive support for all our child's health needs, from routine check-ups to vaccinations, making our parenting journey much smoother!

The staff are absolutely amazing! They are incredibly helpful as well as caring and friendly. My pediatricians Dr Irvani and Dr Ghandi saved my life the day after I turned 9 years old. I was constantly sick for months and no one knew what was wrong until they tested me for type one diabetes. When they tested my blood sugar it was extremely high and if I waited one more day I would have gone into diabetic keto acidosis which would’ve put me in a coma and ended my life. They are amazing here and I’ve been a patient for 18 years!

In the past month I have sat at laboratories for my son’s blood work while the lab has to sort out issues with the orders sent from Drs. And this morning I just lost an hour and a half while they had to resend a test Rx, twice. The Drs might have great bedside manners and be very likable. But when the entire practice has the issue revealed in my recent experience it’s hard to recommend. We will be finding new Drs for our son.

We have been coming to Total Pediatrics of Orange County since our daughter was born. The doctors have been amazing and always kind to our daughter.
Unfortunately, the front office staff lady Yuresha (not sure how to spell it) has been completely rude and even overcharged us our co-pay. My husband was told to bring our daughter back the next day if she was not feeling better, she wasn't so I brought her in. My husband said he didn't need to make an appt that they were aware. So I showed up and they took us in. However upon leaving, Yuresha was rude and said you know we don't take any walk-ins and we have been accommodating you and now we are behind. I tried to explain that my husband was told he didn't have to worry about making an appt. Yuresha was rude and kept going back telling me this is their policy and if I don't like it I can find a new doctor. 1. We never knew they don't do walk-Ins (it also doesn't say on their website) and if they would've told us we can't see them then we would be okay cause we have PPO and can find another clinic who can see us, 2. Our copay is $15 and she charged us $35, when asked they gave no reason they said its $35. Don't take our money and then complain. They charged us $35, instead of $15. My insurance contacted the billing department to clarify what the reason was and even the billing lady Nancy said was supposed to be $15 and she apologized for the overcharge. Now we wait for the EOB to get a refund if there's credit.
We never had a problem but due to the rude behavior and the fact she overcharged us, we don't feel this is a good place for my daughter. And our daughter had a 102 fever. We don't usually go to the doctors unless it's a well visit or our child is sick.
For a pediatrics office, I expect a friendly and compassionate clinic. Not a rude lady who I found out apparently is the office manager. Not a nice place to be rude to a mom infront of their sick child or other children who hope to see a doctor to get better, notbget yelled at for trying to take care if their child.

I have been bringing my kids to Total Pediatrics for years. The doctors are great and always provide wonderful care. The staff and nurses are wonderful they always get us in for an appointment when needed, and answer my many questions on the phone.

I do not normally write online reviews, but feel obligated to do so since I would want this information if I was searching for a new doctor for my children. The staff (at least those I have interacted with) are unkind and uncaring, the office hours are truly terrible. I chose Total Pediatrics because of their affiliation with CHOC and location, but have been extremely disappointed with the lack of care for my children. If you need a well child visit and no other services or support for your children then this place will fit your needs, but be prepared that some of the basics for the well child visit will be missed (eye checks, hearing tests, etc.). If you have a child with any medical issues whatsoever, even minor ones, they will not help you. I am fortunate enough to have insurance that allows me to take my children elsewhere, and I am now looking for a new pediatrician for them.

I had the worst experience with the office staff today. We live 2.5 hours away and continue to make the trip to see the doctors at Total Pediatrics because they are all awesome! Dr. Chow is always so wonderful with our baby girl. I made a wellness appt for my baby 2 weeks ago for Friday at 11am. Called 5 minutes later to move it to Monday as it worked better for our schedule. The main office lady confirmed it for Monday at the same time with a different doctor.

I drive 2.5 hours with my 10 month old only to find out that they never moved my appt and I had technically missed the appt which they left scheduled for the old date. The receptionist refused to take responsibility even though she had been the one to assist me with booking the appt in the first place. She actually insinuated that it was my mistake and I had booked the wrong date. Yes, I should have paid closer attention to the date on their reminder text sent days prior, but the mistake shouldn’t have occurred in the first place.

She then tells me they can see my baby the next day because they can’t accommodate a check up on the same day. Knowing I had traveled hours to be there! Needless to say I made the trip back home very upset with her response and lack of customer service. I hope they record their calls and she goes back to listen and realizes her mistake. Although we love all the doctors there we won’t be returning due to the lack of attention of the front desk staff.

We cannot say enough good things about Total Pediatrics. The doctors and staff are exceptional and always provide wonderful care. On more than one occasion, they have accommodated our challenging schedule needs. All of the doctors are so responsive (especially in an emergency) and they take their time to make sure all of our questions are answered. Dr. Iravani has been so wonderful with our daughter and has gone above and beyond to discuss issues with us and answer our questions. She is thoughtful and she considers my daughters care not in an isolated manner but part of a diverse and multi-dimensional family unit and provides care with that in mind. Dr.s Cox and Gandhi have been equally responsive when they were on call. All the staff are wonderful and Nurse Elva is amazing- quickest, easiest shots we’ve ever had. We feel like we are part of a greater family being in the care of this practice. Total pediatrics really cares about their families. They make you feel like you are part of their families. All in all, this is an amazing practice and we feel so fortunate to be their care.
