Be wary of this place. I confirmed with them multiple times that they accept my insurance (United) they told me multiple times that they do. I was seen by a DR and everything seemed normal until I got hit with a $430 bill a month later and a message saying they do not accept my insurance. They should have informed me that they do not accept my insurance before seeing me. This is extremely unprofessional.

I'm deeply disappointed by Hoag Medical Group at Costco Mesa, specifically due to last-minute cancellations of appointments with Dr. Justin Do, twice in a row in the fact that we already arrived the clinic. Despite reaching out to the site manager about the issue, I received no response. The lack of timely communication and unprofessional handling of these cancellations have caused significant inconvenience and eroded our trust in the group's reliability. I strongly advise against choosing Hoag Medical Group for your healthcare needs.

The office staff is terrible. I called to follow up on a message I left for the dr last week and France’s placed me on hold without telling me when I asked her if my message was even in the system. I was later transferred to Daniella who was even nastier. She told me she didn’t know when there would be an office manager available and when I explained that I would have to change doctors if I couldn’t be treated with respect she said “go ahead” and hung up.

I spent 10 min to get a live agent to get me call, and this live agent spent another 20 min to check my question, which is really easy to answer, very very low efficiency on phone service, much lower than other hospital. So disappointed

We waited an hour for my sons vaccines. A visit where we should have been in the office for 15 minutes tops, turned into 75 minutes. 60 minutes in a waiting room is absolutely inexcusable, especially with a one year old in a room with three sick children. No one apologized for the wait, not the doctor, his staff, or the nurses. I can only conclude that they either completely oblivious to the fact that we waited an hour, or don’t care about our treatment. Either way, my family and my child deserve proper medical care and treatment that this office is unequipt to provide. I’ve been to THREE of the pediatricians at this office and have been completely dissatisfied with all of them. I would never recommend this practice to anyone and would tell them to do all they can do find a better provider.

I was told by my new Physicians office I needed to get a chest X-ray at a Hoag faculty., what a terrible experience! I waited 1.5 hrs! Their was only 1 staff person who could not do more than 1) thing at a time! I arrived @ 4:15 then waited 30 mins ( no one was at desk) she finally appeared and insisted that the other gentleman was ahead of me, but I needed a Drs order ( the Drs staff said its on the system!! Sas was so slow and was insistent that I’d have to wait even if the Drs office was closing too bad she said REALLY
The final issue is that she had me sign some paperwork stating they use outside Drs to read X-rays sooo I maybe paying out of pocket it was a very unpleasant unprofessional experience and I think she was sooo slow she got in 2 hours over time
