This company presents as a holistic approach to mental health care - IT IS NOT!! Their therapists may or may not be credentialed and they add to the program as needed - ends up costing ridiculous fees and they don’t care when you discuss costs. They make decisions based on how much you can pay and by the way outsource to others who don’t even work for the company. They care about $$$$ as a priority. I was told I could obtain resources as a family member - nope. All talk all about the $$

My husband and I are so grateful we had an organization such as yours to reach out to and especially, trust. We truly appreciate your discretion and privacy.
When our teenage son was diagnosed it was overwhelming for all of us. He turned to self-medicating. His troubles at school and life in general; he was really struggling. You helped reintegrate him back to a healthier and more secure family environment.
We could not have done that without the in-home services you offer. No other company we contacted offered that type of help and it made all the difference. It was worth the cost, time and effort. While expensive in the beginning we had no idea the number of services you would be providing. Your quality, care, in home and experiential was top of the line. You were there for us every moment, and that was quite impressive.
Our difficult, troubled and distant son is now thriving. He also has kept surfing. That, in itself has given him a deeper connection with himself. He is at peace.
We are enjoying and loving being with him and appreciate that we can still check in and know we have Resurface Group to turn to for help with anything life may throw at us. We have continued with our referral and my husband and I have reconnected and we are truly happy. That itself is priceless.

The staff (family) at The Resurface Group is nothing short of amazing.
When my family first arrived, we were lost, broken, and had been taken advantage of by several treatment centers. We were hesitant to dive in but hopeful with their very different and creative approach. We could not have been happier with the outcomes. Not only did they completely over-deliver on services, they were very explicit in all their communication about everything. We felt very supported and cared for, even when we felt like we couldn't continue. It was not an easy process, but worth every challenging moment.
We were treated well, charged WAY less than what we paid for, and would do it all over again (hopefully we never have to). They also made sure that we were always informed and included in the process, including billing. It was a huge difference to what we experienced in the treatment centers we were with before.
The team we worked with was highly skilled and flexible and made sure we were on target with our goals. We had the cell numbers of the founders and they always took our calls, even when we called to "complain". Everyone was always present. We felt like we were their only clients.
Bottom line- I cannot recommend them highly enough.

LOOKS THE OTHER WAY FOR FELONY GRADE CHILD ABUSE CASES

ETHICALLY IRRESPONSIBLE

I submitted a request to have a legal document supporting "reporting of abuse" signed and the Director Ari refused to sign the papers, but continues to charge my family.He stated " If you would like, I am happy to educate you regarding mandating reporting guidelines as you apparently do not understand them." and will only reach out to me "when able" because "he's a busy guy." I have yet to "be educated"

They are charging $500 / hr to ask me about my day. (adds up to the same price as PMT's on Maseratis top of the line 2023 model FYI)

I was also encouraged by one of the male staff members that I could "Get Laid" if I "Just went out more" - seems they grossly misunderstand the "issues" Im dealing with and assume that "I must be unconfident" as "getting laid" seems to be one of their their "clinical solutions" to a lack of support in a home / family system.
Thats what they said - direct quote... "well why don't you just not talk to your parents [ignore issues and leave initial reason for treatment unresolved] and go out... you can do it.... you could even get laid man! We support you."

The price it costs to move me out of my family house [solve a lot of issues] is 1/2 the price it costs to talk to them for two hours a week, but they consistently inform my family (who enrolled me at threat of abandonment after egregious disproportionate *(& debatably illegal - highly controversial at least) negative reinforcement) that "they have the answers."
They then state that "Im not doing very well" when after 5+ months of me trusting them & explaining the details of my scenario to them in "therapy" there has been NO TANGIBLE RESULTS / PROGRESS in resolving my scenario.

Instead of simply encouraging my family to stop with the negative reinforcement, and begin some positive reinforcement, they "support me" by continuing to extend my treatment, as they get paid an astronomical amount for this. I see a major conflict of interest in their "support" services.
