We're so happy to have met Dr John Meisner! We first met Dr John at another Chiropractor clinic in Chula Vista. We became regulars at the clinic for months because of Dr John, but we were never able to see him again after he did our initial evaluation appointment. We tried other doctors at that clinic and no one impressed us or helped us feel better the way Dr John did during our first and only treatment with Dr John at that clinic. That clinic even provided us with 15 minute massages with a masseuse, but overall we never felt better under their care despite months of consistent weekly massages and adjustments. We asked the clinic in Chula Vista what days Dr John works there (we scheduled appointments on different days for awhile hoping to run into him before we finally asked why we haven't been able to be treated by Dr John again) and were told he no longer practices there. In the end we found out that many Chiropractors around California come to help out this particular Chiropractic clinic while working in their own Clinics. I was on a mission to find Dr John and I scoured the internet hoping he would post his picture someone when I searched for Chiropractors in San Diego. I struck Gold and found Back2Play had our beloved Dr John!!!
My husband just had shoulder surgery, but Dr John carefully treats my husband back and neck pain. He also incorporates other technologies into my husband's treatment to help my husband's shoulder recover faster. Dr John is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and I love how he explains things to us to help us become better informed about our aches and pain so we can figure out how to best help our bodies to keep us active. He's extremely busy, but he still takes the time to give us his undivided attention and that sets him apart compared to the practitioners we encountered at another highly rated and very busy Chiropractic clinic in Chula Vista who made us feel like we were part of a quick cash cow conveyor belt. Dr John takes the time to feel out our bodies as opposed to others who give us quick formulaic cracks and sends us on our way in under a minute.
He's a grandson of a vet, and when he learned my husband was a retired Marine, he provided information to guide my husband on how to get additional help from the VA. His appreciation and respect for those who served definitely came through when he met us for the first time and that left a lasting impression on us.
We can't thank Dr John enough for being an absolute gem and having a genuine interest in wanting to help our bodies feel better so that we can continue to function in our old bodies. Do yourself a favor and see Dr John if you have aches and pain. I only wish we could see Dr John more often, but it's difficult with our extremely packed weekly schedules. We see Dr John at both his Coronado location and his National City location which is very close to Chula Vista. We look forward to seeing Dr John at least once a week.
