I went to this Dr. late 2020 for chronic pelvic and back pain and bloating after an ovarian cyst was discovered on my ovary. He spoke to me for 5 minutes and concluded that there was no possibility my symptoms were pertaining to my reproductive system and findings of ovarian cysts. He suggested I see a gastroenterologist for IBS. After another year and a half of ovarian cyst ruptures and severe chronic pain, I have been diagnosed with endometriosis. This doctor was so dismissive of my experience that he allowed me to live in pain and experience a lower quality of life. My endometriosis is now at an advanced stage and affects my surrounding organs. I am so disappointed and frustrated with the lack of concern and invalidation that male doctors often practice on their female clients, and Dr Emeruwa is no exception to this dangerous behavior. If you are not going to take into account what women who have lived in their bodies for decades are feeling, you should not be a gynecologist. Antiquated ways of thinking about women’s bodies have no place in modern medicine.

Stay away from this doctor. Look at his other reviews on yelp. He is rude, arrogant, and cold. Sending people to psychiatry for depression is his answer to everything. Horrible bed side manners and just not normal.
