The RN case managers are awesome. Regularly check on my elderly mother, get her authorizations processed in a timely manner and are easy to get in touch with when we need to talk to them. Kudos to you ladies and thank you so much for doing your job!

I have Vantage through IEHP and it is so awful!! I have spine issues and my doctors always get push back when requesting authorization for X-rays or follow up appointments. They've tried to send me to two different doctors without notifying me or my current provider. There was a 4 month period where I called every other week to check on my authorizations and they could never give me an answer, someone would just say that it takes time and it's not approved. This 4 month period only ended after they tried to second me to a second new location, but that new location didn't have a spine specialist!! Why would you try to send me somewhere that doesn't even have doctors that can help me?

After this terrible ordeal, months between doctors visits, and months of increasing pain, I can understand why some people do not get the help they need. It is so sad that some health care providers would rather give you the run around than give you the help you and your doctors ask for.

I have been trying to get an auth for pulmonary Dr that I have confirmed will take my insurance and is closer to me 15 mins & they want to send me to other Dr's that are way too far from me!!! Makes NO scene?!! And yes if I could give a 0 stars I would!

I used to have them but most of the urgent care won’t accept there insurance, you have to call your pcp to get authorization first before, the urgent care DR won’t see you without it, otherwise you go to the E.R and wait for ever, even if you had a cold or a flu You only can go to the E.R !!!!
I had food poisoning when i called them, to check where i can go, they gave me 4 locations, but all of them didn’t accept them, I called them back to check where else i can go they told me sorry we can’t tell because they didn’t update there information
You ask them for any information they will give you the wrong one, i went to the E.R because i got worse

EXCELLENT, EFFICIENT, GREAT AN EXCELLENT LISTENER TO MY MEDICAL NEEDS, AND THE STAFF EXHIBITS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DR. SAMER SANNOUFI IS MUCH BETTER THAN DR. VIEN DOAN, WHO WAS MY 1ST PRIMARY PHYSICIAN AND HE DIDN'T TAKE PAPER OR ELECTRONIC NOTES AND HE TOLD ME AND I QUOTE: "HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME". I HAVE MANY DIAGNOSIS AND REQUIRED SEVERAL SPECIALIST REFERRALS AND DR. DOAN FAILED TO SUBMIT ALL AND I ASSUME BECAUSE HE FAILED TO TAKE MEDICAL/PROGRESS NOTES AND DEPENDED ON HIS LISTENING AND/OR MEMORY SKILLS WHICH WAS A BIG FAILURE. I CONTINUED TO SUFFER MORE IN MY FEET WHICH WAS MY MAJOR CONCERN BECAUSE HE DIDN'T PERFORM A BASIC MEDICAL EXAM NOR DID HE EVEN LOOK AT MY FEE FOR AN EXAMINATION AND HE DIDN'T PRESCRIBE ME PAIN MEDS FOR MY FEET PAIN, HYPERTENSION, SEIZURES. AND THYROID MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS. I HAD TO FILE A GRIEVANCE AGAINST DR. VIEN DOAN AND AN IEHP MEMBER SERVICES STAFF MEMBER REFERRED ME TO DR. SAMER SANNOUFI BECAUSE OF THE GREAT AND POSITIVE THINGS OTHER PATIENTS WERE SAYING ABOUT HIM. I MUST SAY HE WAS EXCELLENT AND MY 1ST VISIT WAS AWESOME WITH NO LACK OF CONCERN AND YES HE TOOK NOTES AND PERFORMED THE BASIC EXPLANATION AND PROVIDED ME WITH THE MEDICATIONS I NEED! DR. SAMER SANNOUFI'S STAFF'S CUSTOMER IS THE BEST THAT I ENCOUNTERED EVEN OVER KAISER PERMANENTE WHO I HAD AS A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER FOR OVER 20YRS. THANKS TO MY RHEUMATOLOGY REFERRAL BECAUSE I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH "SPINA BIFIDA" AND IN PODIATRY I RECEIVED A NEW FOOT DIAGNOSIS OF PTTD AND PLANTAR FASCIAL FIBROMATOSIS AT AGE 49. AGAIN AFTER BEING A KAISER MEMBER FOR OVER 20 YEARS THEY FAILED TO DIAGNOSE ME WITH "SPINA BIFIDA (a birth defect) AFTER HAVING SEVERAL X-RAYS, MRI'S, ULTRASOUNDS, AND TONS OF BLOOD WORK. I'M VERY GRATEFUL FOR DR. SANNOUFI'S MEDICAL CARE FOR ME AND VANTAGE MEDICAL GROUP. I HOPE I CAN CONTINUE TO HAVE HIM AS A DOCTOR FOREVER OR UNTIL HE RETIRES. PATIENTS PLEASE FILE GRIEVANCES AGAINST YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE BASIC APPROPRIATE MEDICAL NEEDS. IF A DOCTOR TELLS YOU HE CAN'T HELP YOU, IF HE/SHE IS NOT TAKING PAPER OR ELECTRONIC NOTES especially for referral requests, OR FAILURE TO EXAM YOU IN YOUR PLACE OF PAIN. I AM GLAD FOR THE POOR EXPERIENCE AND GRIEVANCE FILING AGAINST DR. VIEN DOAN BECAUSE I NEVER WOULD HAVE MET DR. SAMER SANNOUFI AS A PRIMARY PHYSICIAN. HE IS BY FAR THE BEST PHYSICIAN IN ALL OF MY MEDICAL HISTORY. I HOPE HE STAYS FOR A GREAT PERIOD OF TIME. I GIVE HIM A 10+ RATING AND 100% IN PROVIDING QUALITY CARE, COMPASSION, AND HE HAS VERY ATTENTIVE LISTENING SKILLS. HE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST AND THAT'S MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DR. SAMER SANNOUFI ~

Do they ever answer any phone calls or authorize any of the patients, ive been trying to contact this office and they never answer the phone !
