Just came in to be seen because I was attacked and needed medical help. Sign on building still says urgent care, Google shows them as urgent care, I've always gone here for urgent care. I sign in and the assistant asks why I'm there, I said "for urgent care I was attacked by someone and I need help" she asks me to take a seat and then leaves me sitting there for nearly half an hour. Finally she calls me up and says they can't see me because I don't have the right insurance. WTH I told her they've always taken my insurance. Then she tells me "oh, well we aren't an urgent care anymore so we don't take your insurance now." WHY DIDNT SHE SAY THAT WHEN I TOLD HER I WAS THERE FOR URGENT CARE WHILE SIGNING IN? Not okay. Someone has been attacked and is coming in for wound care for that attack and you let them sit for half an hour sobbing in the waiting room and traumatized and then decide to tell them you are not an urgent care anymore? Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to tell the person immediately after they say they are there for urgent care instead of telling them to take a seat?
Obviously this place doesnt actually care about people or patients. If they cared they wouldn't have let someone sit in the waiting room sobbing and needing treatment for 30 minutes before telling them they aren't an urgent care anymore AND they would have also told them where the next nearest urgent care is. Absolutely poor patient care and poor people care!!!!

Came in on tuesday October 1st. I've had severe neck / shoulder pain, and headache and have to go to college and provide for my family. I asked for a Doctors note because driving an hour to college + being in severe pain is hard on me. The (male) doctor told me "if you drove here you should be fine" mind you I have NOBODY ELSE to drive me to the doctor. they proceeded to make me feel like I'm lazy and told me "you should try acupuncture" and "if it hurts that bad go to the emergency room" in a very condesending tone.. they only gave me idroprofen and sent me home, and refused to actually give me a diagnosis. Him and another nurse (male) proceeded to say I was making "excuses".... This felt like misogony and this made me so UNCOMFORTABLE. I'm shocked. I have NEVER been treated like this at a medical establishment. male doctors NEED to treat women patients better!!! I will be speaking to the manager / HR and I'll be finding another office to go to. Shame on you..We're really Doing this in 2024..?

Went to Urgent Care last night as a walk in for moderate to extreme lower back pain that I’ve had for the last month. I was in a room quickly and out as well after a steroid injection and prescription. Will follow up with my NP on Monday. There was only a couple of other people in the waiting room when I arrived. One was called right after I checked in, the other was still waiting when I left.

If you are trying to get a job here especially as a black person dont don’t do it , if you are pregnant do not APPLY HERE the office manager FRANCIS who has blonde hair is very rude , does not train well , I was unable to talk to someone over her about my job position because she would never let me get to that , also when on a interview she told me “ I wish I would’ve knew you were pregnant I wouldn’t have hired you “ DISCRIMINATION MUCH 💯 , she was very rude always yelling in your face and not properly teaching you the ropes , she has something against pregnant people which is crazy , I walked out of that job due to her behavior I can’t work under intense, negative , rude behavior, at this time I was pregnant the day I left she slammed my leg in the drawer where I sat on accident however I took it as it purposely being done because it was with aggression & she was yelling at me , still to this day I have been unable to speak with anybody regarding the situation and to still know she is over alot of people still has me concerned, now that they are OPTUM CARE I pray things will become of change , there is barely diversity in there when it comes to employees and that is not ok as well we need a change and employees with great behavior.

I called on monday to ask if i need to make an appointment or just walk in but the lady on the phone said i can just walk in even though i mention that my doctor is Dr. Nazar. She said the availability of my doctor was Tuesday and Thursday so I decided to walk in on thursday to see personally my doctor. When I walk in its 11:30am literally not busy and its only 2 people inside. I talked to a guy in the receptionist and I explain that I have an appointment last june 8 but I cancelled because I feel sick because of my pregnancy so I can't make it thats the reason I call again on monday if i can reschedule it. I explain to him I live in san diego and not even driving. I dont understand why they give a wrong information on the phone and when I got there is not even busy but there is no doctor can check on me. The receptionist guy doesnt even care about people. He said come back at 12:30 to see if someone can checked on me but when i called back he said no. Its a waste of time. I will definitely not gonna come back and I will change my doctor now. They should hire someone who cares about people. My pregnancy is sensitive i throw up a lot and getting dizzy but still decided to come on this place and I felt disappointed.

The 3 stars are only for the front office staff .Elena the NP is really good once you actually get in to see her. Most of the time the phone rings off the hook with no answer or they pick up and hang up the phone or can’t transfer you properly. The wait time in the office is extensive and your appointment time is worthless you will be there for several hours. Be prepared to pay for any copies, notes or signatures and wait several days to have them returned. Looking for another doctor to transfer to .

i just switched to them as my primary and i haven’t been able to make an appointment since they don’t pick up the phone and when they do they hang up

Always making mistakes on my prescriptions and not sent them in after visit. Then I'm stuck with no medications when I really need it..
