If the little ones you love are in danger. You are SOL. Like other people have mentioned here. They should not even exist. They do not care for our little ones. Its up to them to decided if they are in danger or not, even if its life threatening. They are just sick people working that lame system, how can they live, eat, sleep... like that, knowing kids are in danger. Shame on all of them!!!!!!

I recently sat in a CPS court hearing in Walnut Creek California and watched CPS unlawfully take a mothers newborn with the help of the family court. The mother was (unlawfully) served a subpoena via text message for a previous court hearing. When the mother did not appear in court at said hearing, a warrant was placed on the mother and custody proceedings continued without the mothers presence. During the proceeding that I attended it was stated for the record that the infant was in good health, yet the child was taken regardless. It is my understanding that the mother in this case may be forced, under duress, to give up custody of her child due to documents she was forced to sign.

The whole department needs to be FIRED!! What a horrible representation of the California resource division. The employees are disgusting and feel completely free to treat anyone and everyone like garbage!! Sitting in the beautiful building we the people pay for and use private, locked bathrooms and offices and act like trash!!! Deplorable that old hag that is so complacent she flips the public off for no reason!! Ugly old fat slob hippy has some nerve…it would be funny if it wasn’t so embarrassing and nauseating. Ew. They need a big fat financial audit and that is what I will make happen. Let them sit fat and disgusting, we the people will clean house!! You watch!!!! Piggies will scatter and be in the welfare line.

This place has a terrible reputation, and for good reason - they remove children from fit parents, and ignore instances of real, life-endangering abuse of children. Social workers like Heidi Wintermantel and Nannette Dupree are abrasive, toxic heathens with no boundaries - Wintermantel traffics children for profit, and Dupree makes racist comments with and without parents the room. A former employee of Contra Costa CPS, Jim Paulsen, has gone on from turning this agency into a dump, to perpetuating the CCC court mediation dept's ground zero reputation.

Good job CCC CPS for wasting our HARD-EARNED TAX DOLLARS!

This CPS will do NOTHING when you report child abuse. They will do everything to make it sound okay for a 2 year old handling needles of a meth user, sleeping in parks when it's raining or 108 degreees, for the child to have a huge bruise on their head, or for the child being so absolutely dirty you know they haven't been bathed in months. CPS just doesn't care (direct quote from CPS "we do not penalize people for being homeless or addicted to drugs."). They are too damn lazy to save vulnerable children.

They offer bad customer service they had me waiting for an hour and half, just to tell me that my case worker was sick for the day. Also the case worker told me the case was being close and when I got to court mediation they told me she never closed the case.
