I recently moved to the area. I visited to establish care as a new patient. I had labs drawn and gave my history and meds with a signed request to obtain my medical records. The doctor listened to my lungs and heart asked no questions about my history and did not continue my established medications nor prescribed anything for me despite multiple calls to the office afterwards. I visited the office and expressed concern and the staff at the window told me that I was rude. I asked for an appointment to talk with the MD which was scheduled. I was later called and told the appointment was cancelled and not to return. I was not rude and was begging for my medications. None of them were controlled substances that I was asking for to my knowledge. These were maintenance type medications. The office staff seemed unprofessional, apparently misrepresented me to the MD and had my next appointment cancelled. Dr. Price is probably a good doctor, but his office staff may have misrepresented me. He never treated me for anything despite taking my insurance information. I will find another physician to treat me and one who’s staff will accurately advocate for me appropriately. Shame on the staff of this practice….

I've never had a problem being able to get in and see Dr Price or one of his nurse practitioners. There is also two locations one in clanton and one in Thorsby. Dr Price always sees to my needs and makes sure your comfortable

Yes, Dr. Price is awesome, a good listener and does deserve a 5 star rating. But as with all businesses, it's the office staff that should make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I always go in with a smile but within seconds feel like I'm interrupting everyone behind the glass. They never answer the phone and now you can't leave a message just have to keep calling. I have called 63 times since 10:00 this morning for a refill request. Still nothing.

One of the worst places you can go. The receptionist is rude and has an attitude and always looks as though they don't want to be there or talk to you. Good luck trying to get anyone to send a referral out for you, because the one person that is supposed to do it, won't. Multiple times have me and other people I know have problems with referrals not being sent. Absolutely ridiculous.
UPDATE:
Yet again have I not had a referral be sent. This time due to the ONE person who sends referrals being out due to personal reasons. If you have ONE person sending out referrals and they aren't there, maybe you should get another one. Or better yet hire someone that does their job. This one time may be due to personal reasons, but every other time I haven't had a referral sent (at all or on time) was just her doing. The entire office staff is rude and condescending to all patients.
It's as simple as this, I have to see a doctor for an emergency condition and I can't get it treated without that referral. The doctor who wants to treat me tells me that they still don't have the referral, but the office manager INSISTS that it's been sent. Insists that it was sent the SAME DAY the doctor told me they didn't have it. The Office Manager continues to talk down and talk rudely even though we've expressed the referral hasn't been sent and the doctor does not have it.
Do not EVER go here, not unless you want someone behind a counter to treat you like a child and an idiot while they sit there and do nothing.

I moved from Florida after 4 year on testosterone, a doctor in Florida found out my testosterone was at 52.. i thought i was dieing back then.. i brought full medical records.been here a month. The doctor was very thorough and he listened very well. The offices are very clean and the staff is friendly. However the wait time is a little long compared to my last dr. Other than that I love it.

Dr. Price deserves a 5 star rating, he is wonderful. But the office staff is difficult. We have a hard time getting anyone to answer the phone and if you do, good luck getting a response or call back. Today my husband spent all morning calling trying to get a prescription renewed with no success. When I went to the office to take care of it, the girl at the window ignored me. I had ask her to help me and she acted like I was bothering her.

Dr. Price is an awesome family physician that takes the time to look, listen, and respond to what your issue is, and explains each step for a healthy recovery! I would definitely recommend him, for he is a gentle doctor with an old soul that never rushes you, and listens to you without any interruptions.
