My gfs father has been in this place for quite, a handful of years. Their care has been horrible. Not giving pain meds on time or at all. Not catching things they should have caught. Not answering their phones.

My gfs dad is constantly calling my gf and then my gf blows up their phones or drives 15 miles to chew them out for not doing their job. She took it to the higher ups. Things got better for maybe a week amd back to horrible or no care.

I don't know if the nurses could give a f about their job and they don't care about their patients. Or it's a lack of job training, understaffed, whatever the reason, the place is horrible for patients. All these things I speak about have happened many countless times.

It stresses out my gf and my gfs dad, the patient. It could be theyre understaffed but as I ssid they also miss life threatening things, or have twice with my gfs dad.

He has to call his daughter (my gf) to have his daughter blow up their phone lines in order for her dad to get his meds, his calls for help.

This place has a review of 2.9. Unfortunately people may not have any other option, but if you are curious, I hope this helps.

I can recommend Rossmoor Post Acute Rehab Center if you have an injury or accident that has damaged you in some way and you need to get back into the swim of things. The care here, including the food, is excellent. The staff is kind, thorough, and faithful and I miss them already!

My brother was transferred her this week and he explained to me that this place has Been awesome helping him with his post surgery needs Antibiotics and medications he is doing well here at this facility I plan on going to visit him tomorrow afternoon I wanted to leave this review and let them know that my family is very happy and appreciate the help for my brother thank you today I had they experience these staff members purísima and Peggy also maria working the floor and laundry services they went above and beyond to help me find my brother clothing he wasn’t aware or marking his clothes they helped me find them tag them and also hanging them these workers went above and beyond and my family members appreciated there hard work ❤️❤️

My father has only been at this place for six days. The day he was transferred. He arrived to this facility at about 5:30 PM. The paramedics set him up in the room and went on their way. However, as far as the nurses and CNA‘s no one went to check on him until about 11 PM and when they did go all they said was, “Hi” and left. They didn’t give him
Dinner, they didn’t check on him. He would press the call button and no one would come. He would say he could hear people standing around and he will call for help and no one would come. He had diarrhea and was trying to get someone to assist him in getting to the bathroom. No one showed up and he soiled himself. He has only been there for less than a week and has already had to sleep in his bowls twice. I spoke to Britany who is supposed to be a higher up and she informed me that she would speak to the nurses because this was unacceptable. Later that day same thing happened I get a text from my father at 11:30 PM saying that he has been trying to get through to someone for the past hour.

He supposed to be there for six weeks because he needs physical therapy on Monday. If physical therapist went and simply asked him “are you ready for physical therapy?” My father response, that he is ready the therapist replies, “I’ll be back.” And didn’t return that day so my father did not get physical therapy that day. Tuesday comes around same thing physical therapist asked him if he was ready for physical therapy. My father responded yes, and again, the therapist replies with “I’ll be back.” And DID NOT RETURN. The whole purpose of him being in the SNF is for physical therapy, he needs physical therapy because he is very weak. Yet the staff is aware of this and still doesn’t respond to when he presses the call button.

This place, this stuff, is such a disappointment. I have no idea how they are still in business. I also have my aunt there who cannot move her arm because she had a stroke. She is also not getting physical therapy as I was on my way out. I spoke to a lady that was leaving from visiting a family member and her experience was just like my dad and my aunt’s. You’re better off leaving your family member at home or in the hospital. I highly recommend you do what you can to avoid this place send them even further from home if you need to, but this place is pointless and a waste of time.

I’ll end with this, the next day after putting in my complaint with a supervisor, a nurse comes into my dad’s room and says “so did you put in a complaint about me?” As if they already weren’t unprofessional enough.

I would highly recommend Promedica Rossmoor. I have been working with the facility for 30 years. My father in law and many clients and family friends have received good nursing care and rehab there. Melissa, Shiva, Imelda, Lindsey, Shruted and the nursing and rehab staff have always been kind and caring. They have helped very difficult patients and during COVID they went above and beyond to support our community. In my experience it’s a very challenging situation for many people and it’s hard to please everyone. I just know they always do their best to help and if there is a concern the staff handle it immediately.

Rossmoor manor care took 28hrs to get the pain medicine to my mom. Who had a knee replacement. It was so upsetting to watch my mom in pain. However they did give Tylenol. It takes anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to answer call button. Sometimes less. She has on many occasions had her bed so saturated with urine down to the mattress. You can really tell they need more help. I have to say staff is very friendly and attentive, when they do come. No issue's with them.
