I had a visit to Dr. Maloney on Mon, Feb 10. While the visit was ok, I've waited for test results till Friday. Nery C messaged me and said they will send the prescription to the pharmacy till the rest of the day. Of course, it wasn't there. I sent messages, called on Monday - no response. I finally reached them on Tuesday, Feb 18, they promised to call me back, but never did. They sent me a message that they have sent the prescription just now which is 4 days later! I had to wait to start my treatment just because they didn't do what they promised. I also asked a question on Feb 10 if it's ok if I mix the medicine with a different one I'm currently on (antibiotics), but still didn't get any answer. Def wouldn't recommend this place.

Really untrustworthy clinicians. Like everything else in American healthcare, they prioritize dubious billing practices over care.

The quality of care is egregiously bad. Clinicians communicate with pharmacists about changes in essential medications, but not with patients.

If you need medical care in the States, either a) go to Mexico and pay out of pocket, or, b) immigrate to another country with more controls on medical billing. I've done both and would recommend both over paying for subpar, if not criminal, treatment at a place like this.

Editing to add: Insurance / billing fraud is a real risk at this outfit. I paid out of pocket and had a zero balance when I left. I made it very clear I was not going to bill insurance and I would cover 100% of costs. They still billed my insurance (I have no idea how they even got my card?) and I received a bill for the visit through my insurance provider.

TLDR: This is not a place one goes for, "care." This is a billing operation that engages in fraudulent billing practices.

I Saw their new provider. Dr. Battle today for the first time and it was an awful experience. The doctor was over an hour late to see me and did not offer an apology for his tardiness when he finally walked int to the examination room. I’m a busy person and my time is valuable. He asked me no questions about myself and didn’t even pull up my medical records before refusing to fill my prescription because “He did not do the diagnosis himself” when I responded that I have extensive well documented history with the medication and multiple diagnosis over the course of a 10 year history taking it. He refused outright without even logging into my medical records. I expressed my frustration as this was the entire, reason of my visit and I mentioned it upon booking the appointment. He dismissed me immediately. This was a complete waste of my time and my $25 Co pay. I could not recommend him less.

Let me end this by saying that I have seen doctor Morford for years and he has been fantastic. Great bedside manner, takes an interest in his patients and is always tremendously helpful. He salvaged the second star. This location has been great for years. Hopefully this is just a one off

This place charged me for new patient fee which is not covered by insurance (costed me $350 unnecessarily). I couldn't get them to correct this although I was trying to make an annual visit which is covered by insurance.

If you are visiting this place, you need to be clear this is an annual physical visit.
