I’m writing this before I have even had the surgery. It is after 3pm the day before my surgery and yet NO ONE has called from the facility to give a a time for the damn procedure! So unprofessional. I have called them twice and been told the times come from my surgeon’s office. And the office tells me the opposite. I don’t care who tells me I just need to know so I can plan my day and coordinate a ride to and from! Less than 24 hrs notice is ridiculous and adds a totally unnecessary level of stress and anxiety to the already stressful experience of surgery. Lack of compassion and care that I truly hope I do not experience in person (if I ever get a time to arrive.)

Premier Surgery Center is a well-oiled machine, but still personal. Check-in was easy, the team of nurses inside were attentive, polite, clear in explanations, in good moods and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Morgan, RN BSN put my IV in my hand, I didn’t even know it went in! She could tell I had anxiety about the general anesthesia, this was my first time. She calmed me down, and made me so comfortable. The anesthesiologist, Eric was clear and friendly, told him about the nausea concern, I was out like within a minute and woke up clear headed and perfectly fine. At the end, before I headed out the door, the doctor reports were printed out and given to me. "Service" training is truly embraced here.

Morgan, RN BSN charge nurse was Amazing!

I had an appointment for a colonoscopy the afternoon of February 5th and from the moment starting at the front door being greeted by miss "B" then going in to finish checking in with the ladies at the front desk, then being called in by the nurse for my prep all the instructions were very clear and the nurse who put in my IV I didn't even feel. Everyone is extremely Nice making me feel very comfortable. And seeing the charge nurse Marie Favro she's amazing! Everyone was truly amazing to the end. Thank you ALL for making me feel so comfortable. You have amazing doctors and nurses everything runs so smoothly. A+

I've unfortunately had a lot of surgeries in the last 2 years so I'm quite familiar with hospitals. This was my first time at Premier Surgery Center and I wouldn't want to go again. Granted it was later in the day and I was probably the last patient so my negative experience may not be common. I didn't like the lack of privacy and hearing every patient's case discussed. I really hated hearing the nurses joke about the patients or talk about how tired they were. When I woke up I was force fed applesauce and a pain pill when it clearly states in my chart I can't swallow pills and must have liquid. I'm sure they just wanted to get me out of there. I am thankful my pain was managed and had overall good care but the lack of empathy and rush to go home was not a great experience.

The place and atmosphere is very professional, though it is a business the staff do not treat you like a customer. You are taken care of like an important patient. The nurses are exemplary in the care and service they provide, they go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and your needs are met.
During your typical medical interactions and procedures, most people just want to get it over with and be done so you can go home and rest.
Though I did feel this way, I also was made to feel as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
As far as my actual procedure and my doctor; she is excellent at what she does, and does it as painlessly as possible.
If you are thinking about having a branch block or an oblation I recommend the Premier Surgery Center and their Nursers and Dr. Boparai.

I have had two procedures performed here and my mom has had one. The doctors are great, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. The nursing staff are awful! The first nurse I had said I was telling her how to do her job when I requested that she put the IV in my left hand instead of right just for my own comfort (I used to teach phlebotomy and I now work in an ER so I know what is most comfortable for me). The second time I was there I woke up after anesthesia to several nurses being extremely loud, so much so that I did not gradually wake up, I snapped awake. It was very disrespectful and obnoxious. When my mom went for her procedure, they came in after she woke up and said she could get dressed because her ride was there. They then left her in the room for 45 minutes and when she commented on it she was ignored. Like I said, I work in an ER so I completely understand how difficult it is to work long shifts with disrespectful people, but my mom and I both try very hard to be as polite as possible, so to be treated like we were just a burden was very frustrating.

I've been here for a colonoscopy and endoscopy and both times was a great experience. The receptionist, nurses, anesthesiologists and doctors are very kind and caring. I would highly recommend.

My experience at Premier Surgery Center Started at the very courteous and efficient front desk, then extended to the very helpful, comforting and skilled prep nurse. The surgery nurses, technicians, and doctors were all very friendly and did a great job on my surgery and had me into the recovery room very quickly were the attentive nurses got me quickly on my way home. All in all it was a very pleasant and quick experience and I would highly recommend this surgery center to anyone in need of their services.
