I had a great experience with Daly City Podiatry and podiatrist Dr. Ivanova. I called yesterday and they were able to fit me in for an appointment next day. I am a younger patient with mild foot issues (rheumatoid arthritis, hiking, improper shoe fit, etc) and Dr. Ivanova explained the biomechanics of the pressure of my foot and ankle, gave clear suggestions on appropriate insoles for my issue, advice for foot care (creams to soften calluses, fungus treatment, and wart treatment). Hopefully my toe pad issue will resolve with the guidance, but if I need to return, my feet are in good hands with Dr. Ivanova.

Google maps directed me to the wrong parking lot to access the office- you will need to route to Seton Medical Office Center at 1850 Sullivan and enter the 1800 building and take the elevator. You can exit from a side door on the 4th floor if you park on the other side, but you cannot enter there. It was a challenge getting down the hill and finding the actual entrance.

We'd give zero star if it's possible. The front desk was rude, shielded patients from getting the adequate care from their care team, and just wanted to collect money, simply an unprofessional office.
- They charged us when our primary insurance wasn't responding, and they never bothered to explain the details until we called twice to ask for clarification why we kept getting the bill, and then finally said we got one week before it went to collection that will hurt our credit. We then asked for a grace period as it took time to resolve with the non-responding Primary Insurance, then the Front Desk (Cindy) couldn't confirm and transferred to the supervisor Sadie and we explained our issues and she simply said "we were yelling at her" and finally suggested we should call the Primary insurance and perhaps they can "hold" to not send to collection.
- In the past, Front desk Cindy told us to go to Emergency room when we called for more time-sensitive issues, even the doctor that was following our family told us to call. When the doctor saw my father, the doctor said why didn't we call her, we said we did but the Front Desk told us to go to ER. Our doctor was speechless and she left this podiatry group recently too.

Our recommendation is do not go here at all. Lack of care, compassion and professionalism for patients and patient families.

This office (Saydi Marquez) claims they no longer take Federal Workers Comp patients which I find strange since I have been treated here for over 25 years. The office manager Saydi Marquez called me at the last minute to cancel my appointment stating the Department of Labor was not paying them and she was extremely rude the way she did it. (The office was double billing and they were getting paid) When I spoke to the department of Labor they stated that the office needed to enroll for payment and since Ms. Marquez did not know how to do that, she told me that the doctor is no longer accepting Workers Comp. This was all in the middle of me trying to get authorization for a much needed surgery. The doctor had ordered an MRI. If he was planning on not taking Workers Comp, I believe after seeing him for over 25 years, he would have told me himself. They really need to look into finding a more competent manager. She has been there a little over 5 years and I have had nothing but delays on my treatment since then.

Front desk is rude & incompetent. Cancelled appointment just on a whim. Waiting times are ridiculous; due to overbooking way too many patients. (aka money hungry). No compassion or empathy that 90+ y/o are waiting in a mask outside for over an hour for their apt. Once again front desk is disrespectful with a constant attitude whenever patients has a question. Never return phone calls/ very hard to get in touch with. Way too many other podiatry practices out there. Stay away from this dump.

Doctors are the BEST, they are super nice and friendly and knowledgeable obviously why they are podiatrists. I’ve visited them for ingrowns and glass stuck on my foot 😕. Also, received orthotics And brought my 2 y/o due to w sitting etc.

the medical assistants which are also the ones who work in the office are nice ladies always nice & respectful.

However billing I completely understand that’s out of there control. To prevent any mishaps people bring your current active insurance cards and know which is your primary and secondary I’ve seen patients go crazy on them for something we as patients need to know lol anyways awesome awesome awesome the office could use a little painting I suggest a blue to make it less gloomy.

Poor care! Didn’t even look at the x-Ray, then broke my existing expensive insole, by bending in half, said they’d contact me when I’d be able to be fitted for new insoles- never heard from them. Don’t go here unless you want rude and poor care! I cancelled my follow up appointment, no point- it costed me more to replace what the doctor broke. Awful

As Lai Chow says their office sucks. I brought my elderly mother in. Gave them her credit card. They billed once to VISA and once to DC Podiatry. Took a couple of months to resolve. Pay in cash if you go!!! Did a good job on actual pedicure.
