Dr. Gary Oliver is an outstanding dermatologist. After diagnosing a small spot of skin cancer on my forehead, he recommended Mohs surgery, which resulted in excellent outcomes. He is very knowledgeable, takes the time to answer all questions, and provides comprehensive explanations of treatment options.

My overall experience was positive—minimal wait times, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Oliver truly listens to his patients, making him highly recommended for anyone seeking dermatological care.

A year ago, I was experiencing the worst eczema flare up of my life which nearly claimed my life.

After attempting to rely on my previous HMO, I had switched insurance providers to begin seeing Dr. Oliver and his practice. I was already battling an existing severe bout of staph infection which spread from head to toe.

Dr. Oliver told me to hang in there, as I was dealing with the affect effects of my tapered Prednisone use from my previous dermatologist.

Throughout December 2023, the amazing staff was able to get me all set up to begin treatment immediately on January first with a solid plan.

Here I stand, 11 months later, 40 pounds lighter, following the doctor's advice and trust to the very word, very grateful for the amount of support he has provided me to find confidence to live a fulfilling life again. He reminded me of the belief that the body is extremely resilient and with enough persistence and mental fortitude, you are your own strongest advocate.

Dr. Oliver and his office staff are simply superb.

Needed a second opinion on a rash as my Kaiser care team was non-communicative/unhelpful. Even though it was out of network, the cost to visit Dr. Oliver was reasonable and I was able to get an appointment quickly, so I went for it. Couldn't be more glad I did.

Dr. Oliver asked thoughtful questions, gently scraped and examined a sample of my skin, and returned with an understandable diagnosis and treatment plan. It's really clear he knows his stuff, and he takes the time to make you feel like a valued patient. With his guidance I'm now almost fully healed, and just returned from a follow-up where I got some helpful treatments for recurring acne issues.

A family member saw Dr. Oliver for acne, and we would recommend him. He has very nice bedside demeanor. He took the time to explain treatment options and answer all of our questions. From the first visit, he prescribed a well-considered set of treatments.

His office is also easy to get to and has easy, free parking. He has appointments into the early evening and good availability. His office is clean and spacious with a comfortable waiting area, and the wait time was very reasonable. His office staff is friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a medical dermatologist, we would recommend Dr. Oliver.

Dr.Oliver is incredible! I have skin redness, itching rosacea and went to many doctors, facials but nothing help. Until seeing Dr.Gary Oliver my face has been cleared up. I have Refer my Daughter, Niece, and Friend to Dr. Gary Oliver! The staff is super nice and friendly. Thank you DR. Oliver! You’re the best! My skin is feeling fresh and clear up now.

I accidentally fell down and injured my leg badly last month. Unable to stop the bleeding completely of my wound after a day, I decided to call Dr. Oliver’s office the next day. I was so lucky and happy to be seen by Dr. Oliver on the same date that I made the call. It was also a holiday! How lucky can I be?! On top, Dr. Oliver was willing to stitch my small opening wound. He patiently, carefully, and skillfully put the stitches to close the small opening wound. I was sent home with oral antibiotic, gel antibiotic, petroleum jelly, band aids, and applicators. The bleeding stopped the next day! My follow up appointment was in 10 days which I was so pleased after the stitches were removed by Dr. Oliver. His staffs were very pleasant, nice, and helpful as well. The office is quite clean and nicely decorated. Overall, the whole experience with Dr. Oliver and his staffs were always very impressive! I would highly recommend you to see Dr. Oliver, Gary for any skin’s problems!

I highly recommend visiting with Dr. Oliver! He is so kind, attentive, professional, and giving of his time. I visited a few times to have a small wart frozen and I'm finally seeing progress on a stubborn spot that I've been frustrated with for over a year now (I came to Dr. Oliver after having a less-than-great experience with Pacific Skin in Pacific Heights).

The last time I visited I also had some botox on my forehead. Dr. Oliver was really thoughtful about the placement, and I'm very pleased with the results.

The staff is wonderful, booking is easy, parking always available, and they took Cigna insurance. I will continue to come to Dr. Oliver for years to come and strongly recommend booking if you're looking for a great dermatologist!

Fantastic customer service and Dr. Oliver is an amazing doctor. Glad I found him. Use google maps instead of Apple maps if navigating as apple maps will bring you to the back and there is no way to get to their office. Overall 5 star experience.
