Trust other reviewers, you will be overcharged. Even if you are told that your insurance covers the lab work and that they have verified it, the billing department will assure you that isn't their problem. While the front desk staff and medical providers have been kind and well informed, it is clear this establishment itself does not care about its students. Even if they tell you that "you are covered," billing will see to it that you receive a hefty bill delivered with a condescending and malicious tone. Take the advice listed in these reviews and go elsewhere.

Nice front desk staff. Told me I didn't owe anything, even when there was supposed to be a $50 copay when I was finished with my appointment last time. Got a bill for $73 and that was with insurance! Definitely will just go to the urgent care next time. Whoever I saw did check my vital signs, listened to my symptoms, and tested me for flu/covid. Didn't get the covid test results until over 24 hours later. Thankfully I didn't have either.

They will overcharge you…. 110$ for a flu shot is just ridiculous and unreasonable. Especially considering they know their target audience, a bunch of broke college kids. I don’t know why a university would establish a student health center to help their own students only to bill well above cost. You already take enough of our money.

Had a maximum 5 minute phone call with a doctor (billed for 15min, $82) just to be told to get tested for Covid, Flu, and Strep ($33). Charged about 4x the cost of my PCP or Urgent Care would. You'd think that the $40,000+ dollars I spent on tuition would cover a COVID, Flu, and Strep test.

I hate going to urgent cares because the staff always seem like they hate their job, and their patients. Last time I went to one, the nurse made me feel stupid and I cried. I'm always hesitant to go to them because of this. South's urgent care had a great staff that looked like they loved their job. They actually talked to me like a human being and were super nice.

The out front staff was very nice, but I am very displeased with the professionalism of my nurse. I would rather wait 2 hours in the waiting room at my regular PCP than return here.
