This office is awful! I'd give zero starts if I could. They don't answer the phone, never return calls, and are extremely rude. Office staff plays such a huge part of your experience with a doctor. This has by far been the worst staff I've ever dealt with. Every single person I spoke to was zero help all the way up to the office manager. The doctor was fine, however for the staff attitudes to be this bad, I'd assume this isn't a good place to work. People who are treated and paid well usually perform well! For the whole staff to be this rude and miserable, I'm guessing behind the scenes isn't great. This office needs to hire a company to come in and fix this mess. There's no reason that it should be like this! Overall, this was a terrible experience and I highly recommend finding somewhere else.

No respect, they are the ones that make the appointments. There are no excuses, they need to do their job and get it done. Having people sitting past their appointment time is disrespect. I had a 10am appointment for a shot, I was there at 930 and walked out at 1015 for other appointments.

The only reason why I gave this place a 2 star review. Is because of Dr. Andrew Chi! Dr. Chi is very friendly, caring and helpful he's a 5 star doctor in my book! But California urology's front office staff is terrible! They never answer the phone and they never call back! Their front office staff needs a whole new makeover!

My husband was rereferred here as he had surgery by Dr Minor and Hamdi while at St Agnes. It took me a few days to get through to anyone in order to schedule an appt. When I finally got through, I asked if they were busy? She said yes but their phones don't roll over to a machine, they just ring and ring. I was also advised their office called my husband to schedule an appt. I said no they didn't as I had his phone the time he was in the hospital. I looked at his messages/listened to voicemails and missed call log. Nothing! I inquired about SDI & FMLA paperwork. I was told it was $25.00. I went to drop off the papers prior to the appt and was told a different amount. Went to the appt, told there was a balance on my hubby's account. I said we never got a bill. He was just discharged from the hospital. So made a payment on that. I witnessed two staff members hassling a patient for a $15 balance. I guess if there is any balance, patients have to make a payment, no exceptions. Dr Hamdi came in. Didn't do much. Suggested I TAKE MY HUSBANDS catheter out at home. It wasn't hard! You are kidding me. The appt was a waste to be honest, other than hubby was referred to a plastic surgeon. I inquired about the SDI/FMLA documents they had since the week prior, they weren't ready. I picked them up the following evening and noticed the following day, they were filled out incorrectly. The MA put the incorrect year for the date to return work. The incorrect discharge date from hospital was listed and the incorrect date of disability began. When hubby went to the follow up appt he told the MA she did the paperwork wrong and she didn't say sorry. It was like oh well. I get it isn't a big deal to their office but my husband and I have bills, a family and 2 incomes is needed to maintain that and he was in the hospital for a month and this error detailed the benefits. I didn't look at the reviews till after the appt and I am blown away by how many complaints there is about the staff and nothing gets done! The doctors seem great. I can speak for Dr Minor. He was great. The relief he gave me after hubby's 1st surgery was appreciated. His bedside manners were top notch. Very reassuring and hopeful.

If you’re looking for a new urologist, stay away!! Been trying to contact this place for weeks and no one answers the phone. I travel a lot for work but try to set up my refill in town when I’m back, but they never answer phone. Now they say they won’t be able to fill prescriptions at other pharmacy’s when I try to fill in town but no one answers! It’s been 3 weeks now without my prescription, and they don’t care. Cory said I had to go ccare instead of filling at other pharmacies but ccare won’t even accept my prescription there and ccare said they would send it back. Ccare had nothing in the system under my name either. Cory told me he sent the prescription there.

3 weeks and still no prescription. STAY AWAY

I should give more stars only because we love Dr. MINOR. My husband has been seeing him for over 10 years, and couldn't be happier with his kind and professional treatment. However, this office has the absolute worst staff we have ever dealt with. They don't answer phone calls and if you leave a message, it's usually ignored too. Their treatment in the office is horrible. They not only look unprofessional, they act it. If we didn't like Dr Minor so much, we would have left a long time ago.

Honestly, the way this office is run is completely unacceptable. I had an ultrasound two years ago that showed an abnormality with one of my kidneys that’s probably nothing, but I just need to rule out that it’s not CANCER. This office took almost a year to respond to my referral. I was finally seen in May and the plan was to get me a CT scan to visualize things more clearly. The doc put the order in wrong so the imaging location is not able to scan me until they fix it. I wish I was kidding when I say I’ve called at least 10 times just asking them to fix the order… I work in healthcare, so I know that’s something that literally takes A FEW SECONDS to do once the information is relayed to the doctor. The communication at this place is atrocious and unacceptable and I’m now working with my primary doc to get me referred anywhere else. I suspect my repeat imaging will most likely be normal, but this place should absolutely be held accountable if another patient experiences a prolonged period of time with a CANCER diagnosis that should have been found MONTHS earlier due to the lack of communication between staff. I’m horrified that a business can even function in this manner.

My doctor is very nice and explains things well. You don’t feel rushed . However, there’s poor communication, long wait times and staff unprofessional. I think courtesy and respect needs to be taught.
