I see some negative reviews, but that was not my experience at all. Dr Andrea Tieng and her team were professional and caring. A special shout out to one of the nurses, Natalia, who was gentle and easygoing.

This facility is contracted through Kaiser. I had a surgery scheduled for Jan 2nd. I was there, the nurse and doctor was there. The facility was closed and the manager when called said they did not have any surgeries scheduled. 3 surgeries had to be cancelled. I read reviews and talk to other medical personnel from Kaiser and apparently this happens often.

I’m leaving this review because based on the reviews I read prior to my visit, I literally tried to cancel and reschedule at a different location because the reviews made me so uncomfortable. My experience was the complete opposite of the reviews and was amazing!!! The staff were very professional and comforting and I have nothing bad to say about them. I would recommend.

I found Dr. Andrea Tieng to be unprofessional and condescending. Certain nurses were equally rude. When I later decided to cancel my appt. because I felt uncomfortable because of their unprofessionalism, I learned that they had a couple other colonoscopies also cancelled that day.
As I now read these other reviews, I realize I probably dodged a painful colonoscopy. I will strongly recommend to Kaiser to discontinue their contract with TrueCare Surgery Center

Giving this place one star is being generous. My mother recently had a colonoscopy appointment scheduled at this location. She prepped for 7 days, making sure not to eat certain things and follow the instructions down to the letter. She cancelled other plans to ensure she wasn’t tempted to “cheat” on the prep. The day prior, she was on an entirely liquid diet, followed by drinking the prep fluids for the procedure. MORNING OF, she received a call she couldn’t answer as she was heading to the appointment, letting her know the appointment was cancelled and she had to reschedule. It’s incredibly unprofessional for them to expect someone to go through the burden of prepping for something for an entire week, eat anbsolu NOTHING for an entire day, and then dismiss them as if their time and efforts isn’t precious. Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. My poor mother suffered for nothing.

I had an upper endoscopy appointment at noon, and although I got to the facility early, I didn't leave until 3pm. Considering the endoscopy only took 5min from start to finish, they had me waiting for 2 hours before being seen by the doctor. The nurse, although carrying herself professionally, could not get my vein and had to prick me 3 times before succeeding for the IV. It wasn't painful much, however it was an inconvenience. Also, they asked me to give a pee sample and my cup and the others that were already in the restroom with a sample were not labeled. When it was brought to the nurses attention, she brushed it off and said 'oh well. ' After waiting 2 hours, I was given a sedative through the IV, however they only waited about a minute before starting and I can honestly say it never kicked in. They also gave me a numbing agent to gargle to numb my throat, aggressively unsuccessful might I add. Considering I have a high pain and discomfort tolerance, I still felt uncomfortable for the entire procedure, them not acknowledging that I was severely uncomfortable and could not breathe during the endoscopy; they just wanted to get it over with and at one point held my hand down when I was trying to communicate that I needed a quick break. That itself rendered it an awful experience. I have had issues with Shakfeh before but decided to give him another shot, and he proved me right the first time; he has no regard for people's discomfort, pain tolerance, or need for more numbing agents. I won't get into too much detail of what I overheard, but a gentleman next to me was told by Shakfeh he could take an Uber home without another adult with him after his procedure, but he was told by the nurse that was not possible, and would only be able to do this very painful procedure without sedatives. All in all, I would not revisit this facility unless many changes have been made. Poor guy next to me...

Second colonoscopy, first at this facility through Kaiser. Nice facility. Clean. Well air-conditioned. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was comfortable and felt they were sensitive towards patients. My appointment was at 9:30 a.m. and was told to tell my driver to expect a 1-2 hour wait (driver cannot stay at facility). I was home by 11 a.m. They also communicated well via email and phone calls to prepare me for the procedure and answer any questions.
