I can't say enough good about Chelsea Urgent Care. They have become my go to medical facility. I am a dental professional and everything is first rate. From the courteous front desk, to the nurses to Adam. It has been my privilege to see him at all of my visits. His diagnosis and treatment skills are spot on. He is awesome

I was recommended to this establishment by a close friend and was told I would be in good hands. I am a loyal customer and when I get a good experience I return! First visit was good and normal. Came back the following week due to infection. I stated to the intake associate that I was private pay and did not have Insurnace. She said okay and it looked like it was notated. I received bills in the mail with lab cost from 2 different companies. Doctor never said anything about additional cost due to negligence of intake person! Legally and morally, intake & doctor has to notify if additional cost is there. I received the bills in the mail which were outstandingly high, and after I called the owner of this location; he stated they billed me insurance pricing. I requested that all bills be dropped due to negligence which he did not agree to do. After persisting to get the charges completely dropped or reduced, I’ve had extreme lag times for follow ups and have waited days without communication from anyone to resolve this issue. I do not feel appreciated as a customer. A huge lack of communication has been present and no one seems to want to help me. I will not be back to this location.

Went here for back pain. They saw me and gave me some shots to help temporarily. However, continued back pain led me back there for xrays. This second visit, I was informed that they don't take my insurance without a referral. So I got a referral right then and there. Now they say a referral is no good with my insurance. So now I have to pay the first visit out of pocket due to THEIR error. Not to mention I never got to even see the Dr today after waiting 2 and a half hours. NEVER going here again.

Yes, the wait is long but the staff is great! They took the time to explain they have seen an increase in patients daily and working hard to get to everyone seen as soon as possible even if they have to work 3 hours after they close for the day! What this tells me, Chelsea is growing and we have a great need for these professionals. Please be “patient” while they are working as hard as possible to make us “better”! Thank you Chelsea Urgent Care!

Good luck receiving any kind of treatment from this place, they’re testing for Covid and all the chairs are elbow to elbow, wonderful! Waited an hour and 20 minutes to be rudely asked stand up and sit down 5 different times, thank goodness I’m not a new patient! 🙂 wrong…
5 Patients walked in and walked to their rooms immediately upon arrival while I waited 90 minutes, go to the ER, at least the workers don’t want to Kill themselves.

I’m not typically one to write reviews, but my experience at Chelsea Urgent Care was too good not to share. I went into the office as a new patient around 4:00pm, and the young man behind the desk was very nice and helpful. He processed my paperwork and had my copay within about 5 minutes. As soon as he was finished, the nurse had me back immediately, and I was seen by the nurse practitioner, Richard. Richard took 25 minutes evaluating my illness and explaining first what he thought was causing the illness, followed by an explanation about each of the medications he was going to prescribe and how they were going to help. Richard’s vast knowledge and willingness to explain everything was nothing short of amazing. Plus, I was in and out of the clinic in around 30 minutes!
Unfortunately, I had an adverse reaction to one of the medications, which was no fault of the clinic. I dreaded calling their office, because I assumed I would have to relay my message through the front desk then a nurse, and I would just have to hope it was relayed accurately to the doctor. That wasn’t the case at all. I called and asked the front desk if there was someone I could talk to about my medication. Since the doctor was in a room, he asked if they could call me back. I figured I would be lucky to get a call that day from a nurse. However, I received a call within 5 minutes from Dr. Daugherty. The DOCTOR actually took the time to listen to the issues I was having, and he was very compassionate and understanding of my concerns. Dr. Daugherty took the time to explain the medication he was going to replace my current prescription with and how it would work, which I greatly appreciated. It is clear to me that the doctors and nurse practitioners at Chelsea Urgent Care truly care about their patients. I will definitely be using Chelsea Urgent Care for my future needs, and I would highly recommend this clinic to others.

I went to Chelsea Urgent Care the day after Christmas. I was having flu symptoms and was miserable. From the minute I walked in the door, the front receptionist was complaining about patients having the flu. She even said that “those people with flu symptoms need walk back out the door.” While she had my paperwork, she lost my drivers license. After 2 and a half hours of sitting in the waiting room, I was called back by what I’m assuming was a nurse. I was placed in a room and only a flu test was done. The doctor came in some time later when my test came back positive. He only saw me for a total of 3 minutes. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, I get a statement from them charging me for multiple flu tests, strep test, etc. I can understand being busy and seeing a lot of patients, but their staff is unbelievably rude and insensitive to patients. It’s just unbelievable that the ONLY thing done to me was a flu test and yet they try to charge me for multiple tests. Overall horrible experience.
