I have been going to Dr Stephanie Chun for many years now. She has been consistently caring, thoughtful, patient and very responsive. Her office staff are also pleasant and efficient. Dr Chun is a good listener and works with me on addressing my concerns without rushing, judgement or being pushy with her opinion. She gives me options with contextual information to help me make an informed decision I feel most comfortable with. She is also very helpful at referring me to other specialists where needed. I highly recommend Dr. Chun based on many years of good experiences.

10/10! Dr. Stephanie Chun delivered my baby last year and it was an amazing experience. Being a first time mom was super scary and not having family close by. The team at the office was super nice for every visit and answering all the questions my partner and I had! They have a great online app for you to submit questions and they respond same day or next business day.

I had a bad experience with the clinic that has left me thinking about writing this review for over a year now. My first few visits were good, but one of my latter visits I had filled out a new form to indicate if any "issues" had emerged since my last visit. I ticked a few things that weren't necessarily full-blown issues yet but that I thought would be good to discuss with the doctor out of an abundance of caution. I handed over the form and was waiting in the reception area when I actually heard the front-desk staff, nurses and doctors LAUGHING out loud reading my form and what I had marked for a PRIVATE conversation with my doctor.. These weren't just giggles, they were full blown LOLs and ROFLs.

During the appointment, Dr. Chun was polite enough about my questions and offered some advice but I was feeling shaken up and asked the front desk on my way out whether they discussing my form, and they lied and said no "it was the other nurse's cousin" or something along those lines. As someone else has mentioned in their review, the front desk staff is rude, and there is little cultural sensitivity to those who are non-Asian. In hindsight, this experience made me less likely to divulge what could be important information to other doctors in other clinics as well, and is something that I am still working on reversing.

Update to add— They picked up the phone and I was able to schedule an appt. Truly exceptional staff; friendly and quick to help you. No wait time at all. Very skilled doctors, especially if you are getting your nexplanon removed. I previously went to Planned Parenthood to get mine removed and the nurse was very nervous, had to inject more numbing medicine, and left a noticeable scar on my arm, and didn’t even get it out— it actually took a whole month for it to heal! Then PP didn’t take my insurance the next time (I have UHC) so I had to wait til I moved to go to a new doctor. Fast forward to my appointment here, I am genuinely SO HAPPY with my experience. It was painless, fast, and I noticed it healed in a few days and a very tiny scar (about the same size as when they first put the nexplanon in — if not smaller). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and I will be coming here for future appointments!!!! Thank you so much Dr. Karen Chu!

If you want to be treated with dignity, if you want your time to be valued, this is not the pace to go! The receptionists are so rude, cold, and didn't even bother calling me to cancel my appointment when the doctor couldn't make it. I showed up to my appointment 10 mins early and have been informed that the doctor won't be able to see me due to some other engagement! They didn't apologize or provide an alternative, they were just cold and rude and didn't even take the time to acknowledge that I took time off work and that they could have just called or left a message so I don't have to show up to an appointment that they never intended to honor. I never met the doctor (Dr. Chun) but based on the way her staff treats their patients, I wouldn't reschedule time in their office.

Dr. Chun has been working there since both my daughter and son were born. She is attentive and professional and is very knowledgeable and caring towards her patients as our health needs evolve throughout the years.

Dr. Karen Chu is an amazing Doctor. She is extremely patient, listens to you, and asks the right questions to to better assist you. She has great beside manner and genuinely cares about her patients. I would like to mention that her staff is really great and helpful as well. I highly recommend Dr. Chu.

Dr Chu is friendly and personable. I saw her for the first time, but she made me feel at ease right away. She is very knowledgeable and she gives sound advice without being condescending. She is a keeper!
