Came to this doctor for a 2nd opinion because previous doctor was too pushy on getting surgery. This doctor was very understanding and knowledgeable. He wrote down notes on my medical history and tried to understand thoroughly my condition. He send me for more testing and sure enough, was a false positive.

I came all the way from Riverside in search for a doctor who was understanding and not quick to make a buck off me. I would hands down recommend this doctor to anyone. Not because he gave me what I wanted, but he heard me out when I told him why I was assertive that last test was a false positive. He said it could be something else causing my false positive and turned out it was.

I called to schedule my sons appt. The lady on the phone said he needed to be 13 years old but tried scheduling him before he turned 13. She also asked if bloodwork was done. When i answered yes she asked what kind of bloodwork. When i told her i didnt know she started listing off different things drs will list for bloodwork. I got upset and raised my voice to her saying i didnt know, then she told me not to raise my voice but she wasnt listening to me.
The appt got scheduled, or so I thought. When my husband drove my son 20 miles to the appt the office said they had no appt scheduled.
The dr had to reschedule all his appts from last week, this week, and next week to May. My son never saw the dr.
Disappointed in how office staff can treat patients. Everyones time is valuable.

Very unproffessional resptionists. My partner goes here and told me how hard it is just to book an appointment in the first place. Recently I saw firsthand how they treat people, while I was sitting IN FRONT of them, waiting in the lobby for my partner to be done with their appointment.

I watched as the receptionist answered phone calls, got immediately annoyed if she had to repeat herself. And at some point complained to the other receptionist about the "old man" on the other end not being able to understand or hear her.

In regards to the older man calling, it was such a quick exchange on the phone, but she felt she had to make fun of him for seemingly being unable to hear?

I get being a receptionist is probably a hard job, but a catch an attitude so quickly Especially when it's sick people trying to talk to you.

Seems most of the negative reviews on here are about the receptionist and still you have this problem. Does anyone even check these reviews?

Been going to Dr Bassi for about 15 years, he's great, no complaints about him. The front office is a whole other story though. Been trying to refill my prescription, pharmacy has sent many requests, got ahold of Verna at Dr Bassi office, she's been too busy to go through her faxes for refills, I went two weeks without medication because of her. Next issue, appointments, booked several over the phone appts, my phone never rang. They said they called with no answer. I was waiting for the call, of they called, it would be in caller id, it's not. I can't be the only patient this is happening to.

So far my experience has been NO experience I have been referred by Anthem Blue Cross and the Caremore health centers to Dr Begum over at this place. I started my first contact back in early March 2020 because I tested positive for Hep C, I had to fill out a book of forms and mail it back to them. before having a doctor talk to me over a telephone/video call just to send me to Lab Corp to have 8 viles if blood taken from me. This entire fiasco took over 3 months time. 3 months for bloodwork it’s ridiculous AND now it’s been a little over a week that the bloodwork was done and I haven’t received a call from Dr Begum or her staff to notify me of the situation. I have called Thursday and left a message no one has returned my call, today is Friday 19th of June called today and they’re closed and the message center doesn’t answer! In my opinion so far not professional in communication with the patient that’s for sure!!!!

I have been treated by Dr. Bassi for many years. He is the best. After months of ear infections and antibiotics, at home IV Meds too, I ended up in the ER with a temp of 104. I was admitted and my ENT doc called in Dr. Bassi. I also have Leukemia and allergic to all penicillin drugs so it was what do we do with her? Well Dr. Bassi took a chance and decided to give me Penicillin and it worked! But a nurse had to sit with me through the infusion just Incase I had a bad reaction to it. I cannot take it on my own at home only a hospital setting and being watched constantly. I would highly recommend Dr. Bassi and his team at Foothill Infectious to anyone!

Unprofessional staff. The phone staff gatekeep access and tell patients they "know what will benefit them" but refuse to schedule appointments or communicate with actual doctors. If you aren't the doctor or nurse you should not be trying to assess medical situations.

GREEDY, GREEDY, GREEDY. Would not refund my overpayment, even after my insurance company told them they must refund the money because Foothill Infectious is only entitled to the contracted amount and can not keep the overpayment. Unscrupulous! Kathy, the administrator tells me they would deal with whatever fallout from the insurance company, rather than losing money over the vaccination....what distorted moral logic is
that?
