The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course at Healthcare Science Academy was fantastic! The instructors were not only experts in their field but also great at making the material easy to digest. I loved how they added humor and real-world examples to keep the class entertaining. The post-exam was straightforward because of how well everything was explained during the course. I feel confident in my CPR skills now, and I actually enjoyed learning them!

I had an amazing experience taking the BLS/ CPR course with the Healthcare Science Academy! The instructors, especially Gerald, were incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire process easy to understand. What I appreciated most was how fun and engaging the class was—definitely not what I expected from a CPR course! No words can express how grateful I am for Healthcare Science Academy! They have nice classrooms and very accommodating staff, Maricela is the best! Especially our instructor Ashlee! She did everything to guide us to our success in passing the state exam! She is very professional and approachable! This school is highly recommended!

I truly had the best experience at Healthcare Science Academy, if I could do it all over again I would. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but Gerald, Priscilla, Maricela, Emily, and Jes did a phenomenal job. You can really tell that they care about their students and their journey to achieve their goals/aspirations. They make each and every student feel welcomed and are always there to help/guide you and answer any questions you might have about the material. If you are looking to enroll in a CNA program, hands down this is your best option! I was well prepared by all of the instructors and passed my state exam on my first try! I appreciate everyone at the program, both the instructors and the new friends I made. This is a huge stepping stone towards my nursing career and there is no other program I would have rather done this with (:

I want to start this review by saying I was asked to write a review in order to receive my state exam results early, so I am doing just that.. an honest review. This program checked a box for my nursing app. However, it was extremely unorganized. The first red flag was the lack of transparency about the cost. At orientation we were given a packet with about 15 required signatures, and were told the tuition listed in the packet was not accurate. There was a lot of confusion amongst students about what the true cost was, and the answers I got from the receptionist and the Instructor did not even match. Also, after speaking with other classmates we realized we all paid differing rates. This made me lose confidence in the program’s honesty and integrity. This was just one of the many frustrating things I experienced on the admin side of this program. The instructors were at least 30 minutes late to each day of clinical. I did not feel confident that I was prepared well for the exam, or given a thorough explanation of what the exam would consist of logistically. Whenever I asked questions regarding admin issues or the material, I would get conflicting answers. I felt I needed to ask questions over and over just to feel confident that the person I asked knew what they were talking about. I would not recommend this program to anyone else because I believe they need to work on their organization and professionalism.
