I'm sad to see some of the negative comments on here. I have been a patient of Dr. Leticia Polanco for several years now and feel that I have never had a better experience with a doctor and their office staff. I appreciate that their first priority is not to push medication and to understand root causes of issues. I've also always felt that my concerns are listened to, seriously considered, and responded to in a very respectful and meaningful way. This hasn't been true in other doctors' offices that I have visited throughout the years; so many doctors come off as uncaring, unsympathetic, and care little about truly listening to their patients. Not so with Dr. L Polanco. Beyond her, the office staff have always been helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. As compared to staff in other offices (in my own personal experience) that I have come across, who seem barely educated and lacking in common sense, the staff at SBPMG really seem to be well-educated, well-informed, and have a genuine care for the patients and their medical care.

The Doctors are always on vacation. Look for another Primary doctor if you can.

Became a new patient for Dr. Polanco almost 6 months ago. I have been able to see her only once! She never has her schedule open so its hard to make appointments. For example... she opened her schedule for Aug this week and its already booked. Turns out she is taking two weeks off... so there goes another month of not being able to book an appointment. Oh and guess what you cant book for September or more in advance because she has not opened her schedule for booking? Yea. No Thank you.

The staff are great in trying to help book appointments but they are in the same boat. There recommendation was to call back every Monday? They are at the mercy of the Doctor and have has much information as the patient. Dr. Polanco is always taking time off or her schedule is always closed. Ill be looking for a more involved primary ASAP. Avoid this medical group at all costs for the sake of your own health.

The staff in this office is special and unique. Upon entering you receive big smiles and words of welcome from Andrea & Lindsay. They are sure to make you feel appreciated on arrival. The seating is comfortable and family friendly. The wait is worth it for Doctors Tracey & Leticia always give you their undivided attention to your health. LeAndra puts the final touch on your care by following up with any extra needs. Thank you so much SBPMG for your faith, love and kindness each and every day.

South Bay Primary Medical Group has been my choice for medical care for many years. They always go the extra mile for their patients! Genuinely caring and taking the time to really listen and address my concerns. Can't say enough about the doctors and the administrative staff is very attentive and professional, too. Office staff are rude & demeaning about patients who don't or can't use their patient portal. They do not give information needed for patients to make informed decisions. Dr. Polanco demands that new patients see her multiple times to complete a simple physical that any Urgent Care will complete during a simple walk-in visit. She's only available to see patients from 10:20-2:00 Monday through Thursday, but you can't find that out until you've already switched to her and signed into the portal.

The staff are caring and genuine and will go the extra mile. And Dr. Trace and Lety Polanco care about you as a person and your health I don't think I would ever find a different doctor and I drive a half hour to continue to use their care. 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Front office staff is very unprofessional. Unable to accommodate any appointment that I needed to make. They want to schedule you 3 months out so be seen. At this point I told the front office that I’m looking for a new primary care provider.
