If you value your mental health, avoid this place like the plague. They have a revolving door of employees who are making a pit stop on their way to a real job. That means as soon as you think you’re making progress, you’ll have to start all over again with a different person.

For a period of months, my therapist canceled / missed about 50% of scheduled appointments and then took an extended leave. No progress can be made with that level of consistency.

My new therapist has the personality disorder I refer to as "lawyer for the world that nobody hired". This means that whatever your stance is on a topic, she takes an opposing stance and immediately starts to argue.

An employee inexplicably edited my contact information without permission, leaving my therapist unable to contact me. I filed a complaint and provided very strong evidence and an eye witness. The director of this dumpster fire of a clinic ignored the evidence and lied to investigators, claiming the contact info wasn’t edited.

That was the last straw for me as I obviously can’t receive proper care from a place that lies to investigators and tries to project mental illness (in this case delusions) onto a patient in order to cover for an incompetent employee.

If you choose to be lead to insanity choose this place of underwhelming service to care for the cosmic order. I have arrived at this post by divine nature and the services ushered as priority were not in alignment. Disregard this source of aid for further production.

I been with them for two decades, the admin females remained sharp and professional, yet their character decreased in judging walk-ins impartially - they have the option to avoid "making up" for personal stereotypes and being afraid of the manager at the same time.

A revolving door of doctors seemed to pressure them to not take patients seriously/honestly. Certain individuals know their health very intimately and sensibly, and diagnoses and inconclusive reports distort feedback.
Almost all the doctors I've had overmedicated me and were not flexible in talking options. The psychiatrists for peer support showed themselves diverse, some false psychological and others considedly open-minded.

I am giving South Bay Guidance Center a 5-star rating because they are a fantastic organization that have surely saved many lives. The staff is always very friendly, kind, and compassionate and they really care about their patients. Important to remember that because it's a government-funded clinic, there is a very high employee turnover and their doctors are usually only available once a week, which can be pretty challenging if you have a busy schedule. However, the pros categorically outweigh the cons. Turnover is high, yes, but I’ve met a lot of highly qualified, empathetic professionals that deserve a lot of praise for their work, patience and devotion.
If you've struggled with mental health in the past but have not been able to get the help you need, make an appointment! I can guarantee that they will do everything to make sure everybody gets the best treatment possible.

Been going to therapy for depression. The level of care and real caring of the staff, goes above and beyond the service they provide.
I highly recommend to visit and get help from people who care and will help you get through your struggles.

This place is an uncaring place with cold unhelpful front desk, and has no decent doctor/medical providers. They now only have a nurse that is either late or no call no show for patient appointments; and do not respond to requests for help. No one in this office cares about people's mental health. No help from everyone to make the provider be accountable for actions.

I love everyone here doing the best they can to help everyone. My therapist, psychiatrist, and peer support specialist really helped me deal with all the trauma I experienced in my past. They really helped me learn how to cope with stress in healthy ways and the real me under all that depression, anxiety, and PTSD is finally showing!!!!! I'm really happy that I'm able to be comfortable with being myself. My psychiatrist was also a resident but I didn't know that until she had to explain why she's switching clinics!!! And I thought she was a licensed psychiatrist! She was a very good psychiatrist and the front desk also gives you snacks if you ask for some! :DDD especially if you didn't eat breakfast that day or didn't eat a good breakfast before your appointment, asking for a snack from the front desk is a good idea!! :DDD

The reception desk was kind and provided excellent service. Wait times were low and the waiting area was very clean. Large TV to watch while waiting. Security staff was kind when asking COVID questionnaire and made me feel safe.
