Thank you Enloe Breast Care! I recently had some VERY, VERY bad experiences at Halo Breast Center, and let me tell you I was SO grateful for your kind staff and Doctor today! I am a cancer survivor and I suffer greatly with pain and nausea. I came in today for an ultrasound on a couple of troubling spots that showed up during a recent MRI. I should have cancelled the appointment as I was very ill and in so much pain, but I also knew I needed to get this test done ASAP, so I showed up! Your staff kindly and patiently helped to get me checked in as I just could not handle focusing on the forms. The staff brought me RIGHT BACK, even though I arrived early to my appointment. The technician came in immediately to do the scan. The only time I had to wait was when the technician was having the doctor review the images. Dr Palmer then came in personally after the first round of imaging to have the tech specifically get some views he wanted to see better. He could easily have just instructed her to go back in the room and try to scan again, but instead he came in, stood there and directed the technician until he was100% sure of what he was seeing. This was a big deal to me as I know he was busy, but it was more important to him to get the right views and get them fast rather than just accepting what was done and getting on to the next patient. He showed great compassion to my condition and he never seemed rushed to get out of the room. He gave me as much time as I needed. Dealing with these kinds of things can wear a person down..... but kind, considerate, compassionate, caring clinics, doctors and staff really do make it a lot easier! I am very grateful and blessed to have added Enloe Comprehensive Breast Care onto my health team! I will be referring other to your facility! Thank you!
